Exactly....and taking that one step further, which protein are you talking about? Whey, soy, egg, casien? All have different absorbtion rates the can go beyond an hours time.
I think that 20 gram thing came out of the old days when protein was just a crappy whey source that when you took in more than 20gms made you sit on the pot all afternoon. Times have changed.
