LOL! The core Debian is harder to install compared than RH out of the box. But the Ubuntu version of Debian is soooo much easier than RH. Under the hood though, they're essentially the same thing. Only the package manager being different and the config file locations. The non-standard config file location between distros is one of the biggest headaches in Linux, that's why so many distros now try to make GUIs to wrap around that.
