I like Solaris a lot, but businesses simply cannot justify having the amount of Solaris boxes they used to. We have Solaris boxes that just did DNS, FTP, Samba and Web that are now all ported over to Red Hat boxes. We migrated from 20 Solaris boxes down to 3 Solaris and 6 Red Hat Boxes. The Solaris boxes that are still out there manage membership accounts and emergency road side assistance.
