Cam Selection
Cam selection for turbo setup have been covered. Cam selection for a NA setup has not. Here is a suppose setup:

Min.
260/264 [Stock, Tomei, or Greddy/Blox, HKS, or Jun]
A combination proven in the Mitsu Galant Tuned by AMG.
Degree the intake to 18 open/62 close; degree the exhaust to 63 open/21 close to mimic valve timing of the cams use in the galant tuned by amg. For slightly more top end, mimic the valve timing of the jdm evo 8 mr intake by degreeing it to 17 open/63 close.

268/272 (more like the above just more duration, good for a 2.4L[GSC S1/ Blox, HKS, or JUN]
272/272(the norm)
272/280(max for a street/strip setup)

280/272(probably more race/drag/track; 11.5cr+)
280/280

Advance/retard the cams(usually the exhaust first) to get the most out of them.

Setting cam timing:
Option 1

Option 2

4G69 Info:
*The 4G69 is simply a 4G64 with 87mm bore and a deck height of a 4G63, interesting parts may be use to swap over such as lightened crank, rods, and crankshaft pulley, as well as use of the lower compression height pistons to use with a longer rod to increase the rod ratio thus allowing the 100mm stoke to rev higher. More details inside.
FYI

Transmission
Code: F5M42
Code: F5M51(V6 5 speed manual, MAY bolt to 4G64.
Misc. Tranny Information
Evo 4-7 tranny info
Evo 8 and Evo 8 MR tranny info
4G69 tranny on a 4G94
Comparsion between F5M42 and F5M51
*Theory, the 6G75 6 speed MAY bolt to the 4G64 and MAY/MAYNOT fit into the engine bay. The 6G75 is base off the 6G74 as well the 6G72(3000GT), and the non turbo 3000GT used the same tranny as the FWD turbo Eclipse with different gear ratios.
