sso before i order my 225/45/17's from tire rack i wanna see if i can order maybe lower profile and wider then that... if not then i will stick with these.
According to tire manufacturers, 225/45-17"s need at least a 7" wide wheel but I've seen a lot of members put them on their 6.5" wide stock wheels without any problems. If you want to go wider than 225 with an aspect ratio lower than 45, you'll have to get 8" wide wheels with an offset no higher than +40.
