Negative. Sorry to hear that you were misinformed.

Our replacement plans do NOT cover accidental damage, as much as I'd like them to. That's down to the employee who sold it to you, he told you the wrong thing. We are told not to tell customers that our plans cover everything and anything that may happen- this is why.

It's quite easy to understand from a business standpoint, however unfortunate it may be.
