Yea thats how I am. I mean I barely see my grandparents but everytime I leave I hope its not the last time I see them. One of my grandfathers passed away about a year ago, rest his soul, and it didn't effect me until about 2 months later were I just broke down out of nowhere. Started thinking about my father passing away and now Im on his ass more about his health.

I dono, most people do die due to accidents and natural causes which we can't help, but there are some things you could do to prevent it for a while such as being healthy. Im not saying everyone should be hercules, just as long as they are healthy for their weight that's all that matters. So many diseases and deaths are the cause of being unhealthy which is sad because most of the time its something we can do something about.
