Johnsgalant,
How is the ecu going to detect knock if the sensor is removed/disconnected?? Also, what I have to do is what you suggested a couple posts ago; use ScanTech to check my sensors and all that stuff. I totally forgot about it until now.
2000RS-Turbo,
I'm just going to try it anyway; what have I got to lose? Haha, although my knock did go down a bit just revving in neutral after I gapped it to .024; I only (lol @ only) got a knock count of 17 at the highest.
Also, it more than likely can't be my coils because awhile back I got new ones because I thought they were going bad. I switched them with my old ones recently and the same result; so I just put the new ones back on.
If after doing all this it still doesn't fix anything; I'm going to have to have someone physically check the belts because I did do a timing belt change awhile back. Or is there a way for me to do it myself? Or would it be too difficult?
Thanks for your responses, again.
