Interesting. I'll have to try that as well just to see if it does knock. If it does, then obviously theres some sort of interference.
Haven't done a comp. test as of yet, I know I really should, but haven't had much time to. (haven't really been driving the car lately, either)
I think I'm going to follow these steps moving forward to diagnose the problem...
1. boost leak test/load Tephra v7 ROM
2. undo some wiring that I've done in the past (radio, o2 sensor heater wire, gauges, HIDs) just to see if I did something wrong.
3. As johnsgalant suggested, unplug knock sensor just to see if the ecu still sees knock
4. Compression test
5. If all this fails to provide any insight, have my actual timing checked out.
Anyone else have any suggestions that I could possibly go through?
