What Color Should I Paint My Valve Cover.

Ok I have a 2001 Patriot Red GT. My plans are to paint the stock rims a dark bronze. Now I have a question.

Should I paint my valve cover, strut bar&braces, battery harness, and all the caps:

The color of my rims or The color of my car?

I am not sure if i paint Under The Hood bronze then it will look ok.

What do you think I should Do?

This is my car:

Since This Picture I have Smoked My Turn Signals and The plastic Grille Pieces are now black.

This is what Im going for as far as rims:[Thanks to carowner; this is (SEXY)]

This is My Engine Bay:

The bronze wouldn't match well with your CAI. Go with red.

Get a set of cap covers from Tearstone.

Then, take those new caps you purchased, intake manifold, valvecover, battery bracket, radiator brackets, etc. AND take the piping to your CAI along with the wheels and have them ALL powdercoated bronze at the same time. Also do that heatshield over your exhaust manifold too.

Sidenote - You can't paint those pieces to match anyhow, there is no patriot red powdercoat and regular PPG paint won't withstand the heat.

Call and get pricing - it varies depending on local market and value of the dollar. Just as home values and salaries vary significantly from place to place.

As a rough figure, I would set aside $500 and plan for it to be around that or less. Better to over estimate and save than under estimate and owe.
