I need new headlights
Okay, right now I have the stock headlights and they are cracking. I also have a 12k HID kit to install and I don't feel like blinding people with stock headlights. (I know what you are thinking, 12k? Seriously? I got a good deal.) So I need to buy new headlights. I'm looking the all different kinds and I notice some have the blue projectors and some have clear ones. Is one better than the other for HID bulbs? I'm also leaning toward the chrome ones as opposed to the black ones. I have a white 3g, would chrome look bad on it? I also plan on taking them apart once I get them and upgrade to CCFLs. Does anyone know the size of the ring on the single halo headlights? Thanks for your time guys.

I had the chrome sonars, then switched to black sonars (definitely looks better). You need to know what HID kit you have (like h1, h7, etc.) Sonars are h1.

Damn well they were 9003 high/low so I bought them because I figured the factory headlight bulb size is 9003. So most aftermarket headlights are different?

Sonars are h1, i believe Depos are h7.

Yeap, DEPOS are h7. I used to have chrome anzos, but switched to black DEPOS. Much better.

Oh, okay well that's good to know. So I would have to get another kit. The reason why I kind of want the chrome is because everyone else has the black heh. Oh well I might think about the black.

There aren't any rings on the Depos, just the sonars. I'm not sure how big the halos on the sonars are though. They're not tiny or anything though.

Ooooh okay because I was looking at the depots and it was weird it kind of looked like they had them but I wasn't sure. Okay well that's good to know. I'm for sure getting some sonars I guess. I'm also thinking about putting a LED strip in on the bottom of it. It's kind of the Audi style strip.

There's a how-to for that in the garage when you get ready. I've been thinking about doing mine that way as well, but I want to see it in person first.
