Gave the outgoing COTM a night wash. Used an old toothbrush to clean the Brembos.
works good (saw it from Matt).

went and bought a lower intake manifold with studs intact. cleaning it out then waiting for new gaskets to come. considering i am on a junkyard engine and i never replaced the lower intake manifold gaskets and cleaned it and probably not sealed the best right now it should make a hell of a difference. couple that with the xg350 upper manifold i am putting on looking to gain at least another 10 hp

I have read many people recommending Moog endlinks time and time again on this site, and let me tell you, if you have to use a hacksaw to get them bitched off, have fun. I tightened them down to 29ft/lbs, what it says to on the paper that comes with them, and somehow the nut almost came off but seized at the end. At that point, it was impossible for me to get it off, almost rounded off the inner nut. So took a hacksaw, and went at it. A shorter hacksaw probably would have made it easier(or a dremel, or a sawzall), but I eventually just took the damn blade off because there wasn't a lot of room in there. I am replacing both with another set of Moog endlinks because they are beefier then OEM endlinks. Not necessarily easier to take off. My old OEM ones came off without a hitch.

Forget the speakers, why is there a razor scooter back there?!
![]() I have been spending the last two days replacing the front sway bars, nite-shadding the rear corner lights and third brake light. What I have learned: 1. Whoever designed the bracket placement for the front sway bars is a douchbag. 2. Nite-shade is a fickle mistress and clear coat is a bitch when you screw it up once. =/ |

Oh no I don't want a video. I am extremely knowledgeable about car audio. I just would never buy that in my entire life. Just can't see how someone would enjoy those unless that's the first thing they have ever had in their trunk closely related to subwoofer speakers. You should take those out and get some real subwoofer speakers soon lol unless you don't want subwoofers?

Exactly. For track use and daily driving there is no point in getting a bigger front sway bar. Only a bigger rear sway bar is what really matters. The Eclipse's rear sways outward badly on tight cornering, reason why I installed a Suspension Techniques rear sway bar years ago and wow what a difference lol.

. I told him he was stupid for spending $50 or so bucks just to do something like that. He enjoyed it more than I did since he went to bass competitions for years and basically does it for a living pretty much.I'm not a pioneer fan, I think their products aren't good but for people who aren't nuts for car audio they are good decent products for them I suppose. |

If you need an idea for a custom subwoofer box you can check my members ride thread since you have a GS and not a spyder. I have lots of room after I built my ported one for two 10" JL subwoofers. It only covers about half of my trunk. Lol I say you should just fill it up with lead.

Registered it for another car show and then went on an organized "downtown cruise" last night. Today it was the 7 hour long Show'n'Shine, then drove it 3 hours back home so that I can do it again tomorrow in another city.

Finally got around to getting the car to the shop and finished my parking sensor install
This is them on. The parking sensors go on when I put it in reverse. The power comes from the reverse light wires. ![]() Heres a close up of the parking sensor. ![]() This is the "brain". It hooks of the monitor to all the sensors and power. ![]() And finally here is the parking sensor. It tells you how far you are in meters. And then to what side the object is.

It's the vinyl cf stuff you find at autozone, I was actually quite surprised at the quality of it, it's good stuff, was about $12 for a roll. I sprayed a couple of clear coats over it.

Car was staring rough for a good while and then the other morning i got out and it just barely started. Then later in the day i got in my car and it wouldn't turn over. Battery finally died on me. Went and got a new one and it's starting as good as it ever has for me.
Also finally replaced my hatch struts. So awesome to have a hatch that doesn't weigh a ton to open and actually stays open!! |
