Ti-C install help
Hey guys, I've searched my brains out, and if I could get pointed in the right direction, I would appreciate it.
I am installing a Ti-C on an 04 GTS, which everybody says is really easy and straight forward. I agree, other than those god damned bolts, things were fairly smooth, until I needed to take the muffler portion out from under the car. It seems (this is where my knowledge of what's under our cars fades quickly) the flange was getting stuck between the bottom of the spare tire compartment and the axle? I ended up taking off the driver side's rear wheel, and then having to take of two clips for a bar (I have no idea what this is) which is now hanging down. After struggling to get that piece out, for quite some time, it finally came out. The new problem is trying to get the new muffler half of the catback in. The piping is longer than stock for this half, and I always seem to be getting it caught on the turn. Am I missing something, or do I just keep wiggling and eventually I will find the sweet spot? Thanks in advance for any advise

Ughh, no wonder why it wasn't as loud as I thought, and apparently super easy to pull out... thinking about doing so right now, but its 2am and neighbors probably wouldn't like it...

I have a muffler that sounds great. I'll trade u. It's even got a sticker u can put on ur car. I have it on my tire right now and it looks great when I'm driving. Sometimes I even get out while driving on the highway just so I can see it in motion. Trade me now yalls

Vicksquik is obviously butt hurt from the internet, so he's taking it out by clustering the boards with his useless and childish humor.
What a fag.![]() OT not a fan of the sound of that exhaust. Maybe with the silencer taken out, but I'm not sure. I guess I just can't get over the Evo II.

I was originally going for the Evo II, and then saw the Borla, and thought that was it. The night before I ordered the exhaust, I somehow found this one (dunno how I missed it earlier) and instantly knew this was it for me
@ Scooby00GT, I've got my order in with John for the hytechs, said they were about 3 weeks out I'll definitely post vids when I get those on, and I'm working on the silencer; it seems to be in there pretty good...

Thanks! I think it sounds like a beast, and can't wait for the headers. I have a used HFC on its way. I'm not sure whether I'm going to attempt to do the headers or have a shop do it. If I find someone who can weld, I'm likely gonna try myself. And I'm sure it's gonna be fun
, but so worth it

no, actually considering where it goes under the axle it ends up being about the same place laterally on the car as the rear brakes you would have to get past the bump stops in order for it to scrape. the only place on my exhaust that scrapes is my resonator/mid muffler and it only scrapes because its a 27in/7in magnaflow straight through muffler. bish is huge, you can see it from the side of the car if you are level with it. lol.

DO NOT put headers on her with this exhaust!
SOOO much rasp and farting you'll regret it. I have a GT with headers, hi-flow cat, ti-c catback, 6g74 intake and TB and tuned using 91 gas.......I want to sell the car now cuz its down right awfull and Ive been pulled over from the loudness. but thats just my opinion. Also the Greddy is a great product but their stainless for the piping will tarnish very very quickly. The canister stays nice nice tho. ps. your car sounds real nice with just the cat-back.
