cant find special tool for tb service
i found the tensioner tool and pulley wrench listed in the service manual for an 03 GT for timing belt service, however no one has the crank pulley spacer #MD998769 for turning the crank with a ratchet. my local dealership wont sell me tools. how is everyone turning the crank when changing the belt? is there another source besides miller/spx/otc?

just get a nut with the same thread as the pulley bolt and install it with the nut being a spacer and use the proper size socket.

contact OTC if you want mitsu specific special tools.
although none are needed during timing belt replacement unless someone stupidly loosens the belts manual tensioner pulley (which should not be done). |
