Ingalls Stiffy on the 4g64..Interested?

I need to know if you are interested.

I am looking to find out how much of an interest there is for this product, because if I find the interest is large enough I will look to do a large scale run of these items at my shop through a group buy.

So here is what I will be able to offer.

*Custom Fabricated brackets including strut tower and engine mount bracket.

*For those of you using a strut bar you would have the choice to purchase a dead plate to go on the opposite strut tower so that your strut bar does not become uneven.

*For the problem with the coolant tank. I switched to a Weapon R 24oz universal tank and I have custom fabricated a bracket to relocate the tank to the drivers side of the engine bay. So if you are interested in getting this tank this is an available option.

If this goes through you will be able to purchase any combination of the listed items. For the group buy to go through I will most likely be looking to get atleast 30 people.

So i hope this sparks some interest. Let me know what you guys think and I will be updating you as soon as I can. Hopefully I will have pics and a price idea by the end of next week. So if this has enough interest hopefully I will be able to get something going soon.

not to rain on your idea or anything but i got the weapon r damper for the evo to fit with very little modding. you have to drill new holes in the strut tower mount (evos 3 studs are closer together), then cut the middle support out on the weapon r bracket that attaches to the engine mount. then drill a hole for the engine mount bolt and open up the 2 holes for the mount. and your done. the brackets are thick so you either need a vise and some really good drill bits or a drill press. hope this helps

Ya thats cool. I had no problem making my kit that isnt a problem. I am just trying to offer an option to have the ingalls product as well as way to relocate the coolant tank easily and etc. Just putting thew information out there for any one who may have been interested. We are always just fabricating new things at my shop so that was all.

I do not know exactly what price we are looking at. I was trying to see if their would be fairly good interest, so i could get a set price. I will probably start trying to get some more info together and an idea of price just basing it off of a number i figure will be what i need to make it worth while and allow me to get a better price overall for those interested. So I will try to update this as soon as i can.

by the looks of the modification on that Weapon R 1 or even using ths V6 1 i dont see what the difference is what is it bolted to exactly i know the strut tower and then its just the motor mount is that it?

Sorry everyone I have been gone for a while, just been busy. I will get pics up one day this week so you can see what the kit should look like. As far as pricing i still haven't figured the final price. I see there is a little more interest now, but I will still need a larger number. I will try to keep updating more frequently.

Still havent got around to taking the pictures. Things have been hectic. As well Ingalls has not responded to me about pricing on the dampers.

But some questions. Would you prefer to buy the bracket kits from us and get the damper on your own or for us to provide the kit with a damper? Also I am looking to see if there is a preference on coatings for the bracket; paint, zinc, etc? Any information you can give will help in getting this product readily available.

i would say powder coat the brackets black. and include the damper, you know, a full kit.
