Manual Engine in Auto/Sporty Car?

My motor bit the dust a while ago... and im going to just put another one in and build the one I take out.

Not too many options for motors here in indy. But I did find a VERY cheap one locally, but its from a manual car. I thought it would be the same, but the guy at the JY said that the reluctor would be different.

So basically my question is would it be a big deal to put a manual motor in my auto car? I have no problem if its a little bit of extra work since I dont drive the car much anyway.

Thanks in Advance.

The engine should be the same. A 4G64 is a 4G64.
