No Audio On Pioneer TV
I recently got a Pioneer PDP503PE which is the European version of the PDP503PU and I'm having some trouble setting it up. The TV has PDP506LR speakers attached to it but no matter what I do I can't get any sound. I've tried changing settings and reconnecting everything but the longer it goes the more I think that something may be burned out or worse. If anyone has any suggestions on what to try next I would really appreciate it because I'm out of ideas.
EDIT: Sorry about the double post. |

I don't know your specific set, but it has external speakers, correct? The wires are run to those speakers, yes?
If they're hooked up, I'd test the speakers on another source, to make sure they're working. If they do work, it's either a setting or the tv's internal amp is borked or something. |

Yeah the speakers are bolted to the sides of the TV but the only wires are the black and red ones that go from the speakers to the TV. I'll try attaching them to something else or is it possible to attach another set of speakers to the TV?
Edit: I plugged headphones into the jack on the reciever and got nothing there as well. So I assume it's some sort of setting rather than the speakers being defective. Last edited by Lax378; 02/18/2008 at 05:28 PM. |
