My photography

I have started to kind of come out of my shell when it comes to my photography. I'm more interested in automotive photography but I am starting to take pictures of everything else around me. I'm slightly colorblind, well, actually, it's more like color stupid. lol. I can rarely tell the difference between blue and purple, red, orange, and brown, and green, and yellow. I can see the colors by themselves but together, they are a mix to me. I can see the colors as well, I dont see black and white. lol.

Anyway, I went to the city with a few friends this past tuesday and took some pics and here are some of the pictures i took with my Rebel XSi with the 18-55 kit lens.

My brother and Sisters National Honors Society induction ceremony. Didn't like how these came out. I had to crank up the ISO due to poor lighting so some of them are grainy.

That's all I got on my flickr for now, I'll upload some stuff tomorrow from my desktop and post them as well. I will also post more pictures from the future on this thread as i go along. ENJOY!! CC is welcomed. thanks.

Photography is not my field of expertise so don't value my opinion too much but your pics look good. I really like the 6th one.

I am just a fool for Chicago. I love them all.

However the first picture I like a lot due the the buildings in the background catching the reflections of the surrounding buildings.

FWIW, overall these are pretty good. Any of them could be nitpicked for one thing or another, but you have a good eye for composition and the series of pics here tells a good story. Some of the close-ups of your friends in town are great, you may be on to something specific that you are real good with and might pursue more.

My first Panoramic attempt. I didnt do anything to the colors because I wanted to make sure it blended good.

Do you wear glasses?

Sigh. I used to have 20-20. Lost it last past 2 years

No idea why my eye sight got really bad recently.

IMO they all look rather normal for any person to take. Just like a tourist I guess. By no means am I a photography expert but aside from good quality pictures, I'm just not that impressed. Definitely some promise though. Good luck with it all.

Rather than trying to do a pan - just shoot at 12MM or less.

No tripod and ISO was set from 400-1600. F spot was at 3.5-4.5.

Some randoms from last week.
No tripod, but I dont remember what I was shooting at.
