Post processing software and photo learning links
www.neatimage.com
Download the demo which seems to just be "not for commercial use" and has the minimum of features. But if you photograph (or even scan) an image that has a lot of noise this wil correct it. for instance below is a photo I too at ISO 1600 on my camera. the first is one that I even tried to fix in photoshop. ![]() This is the same photo after running it through the neat image program. ![]() |

yeah this program you can set up custom profiles but the auto works fine for me. I will start playing around with the settings (they look like a stereo EQ) when I learn more what they do.

Is there software that auto-resizes dig pics?
I download pics from my digital camera (C750-UZ) at huge resolutions, so when I go to post them on a forum, I like to resize them down to maybe a quarter of the original size. What I usually do is open each one in mspaint, resize, save. This is okay, except when I have over 50 to do at once.
Is there a better way to do this? Is there a program that will resize a group of pics for me? |

I also use a program called Photothumb, that takes a photo, or a group of photos, or a directory, and creates thumbnails in whatever size you want, resizes the originals, and creates html pages for all the images with like, 2 clicks. Well worth the asking price. www.photothumb.com

even PS elements that comes free with some cameras can be good.
Kaboobie, I tried looking on MS's web site and didn't see anything like that resizer. Another idea though, and I can't remember the site, but I thought someone had posted a web site a long time ago that would let you resize pictures. I'm going to go do a search. |
