i guess this would be the appropriate place to ask a few more questions about the speaker colors. I have a 2001 GS i cant figure out what the RED/WHITE, BLACK/YELLOW, WHITE/BLACK or the straight WHITE, RED, or BROWN colors mean

i believe the speakers are all multi colored so i dont know where u found the solid white red and brown. the colors i listed above should apply for all trims but im NOT 100% sure. where did you find red/white, black/yellow white/black wires?

well the solid colors were connected into a smaller plug on the side of the big plug where all the speaker wires were located. They both went into the stock head unit so i have no idea whats going on there. I cut the harness of the big plug and separated all the wires. the RED/WHITE, BLACK/YELLOW, and WHITE/BLACK were all a part of that. I have a diagram that says that the WHITE/BLACK is the switched 12+ wire....so does that mean its the ignition?

not to be an ass guys but if you look at the wiring diagrams in the free service manual at tearstone's site it tells you every wiring thing you would need to know.Tearstone Performance - 2003-2005 Eclipse Factory Service Manual
