Keyless entry(no alarm)

hey guys, im confused.. my car has a factory alarm but It came with no remote. I have an 01 clipse spyder gs, auto. Can I just go to the dealer and get one? or do I have to buy a custom one? is there a way to find out if my car came with keyless entry or not? any sensors or fuses I should be looking for? I dont want an alarm, remote starter or anythig, I just want keyless entry.

Make sure you get the right one though, 00-02 are different from 03-05. I can't remember what it says (I'll go check mine in a minute since I have an 01 also) but it says the name on the back side of the remote, one names for 00-02, the other is for 03-05.

The one OP needs is the one that does NOT say Denso on the back. Im pretty sure atleast. Ill have to grab the Eclipse keys and check it out if you dont.

Oh and since its a spyder it should have 3 buttons on the front, LOCK, UNLOCK, and TRUNK.

No he probably needs the denso one because those are for 00-01 NOT 02
