Custom Trunk (in progress pics...)

So as you all know, I finished the bodywork project on getting the WW kit completely molded. Now, I'm finishing out the trunk and getting my seats re-done.

Here's a few pieces and some test fitting.

IIRC its going to be fiberglass and color matched. I cant wait to see it and hear it hopefully its before I depart from here and then that would really suck.

i dunno what hes gonna do looks stupid now but he always does stuff over the top so im sure it will not come short of kick ass wish i had the money 2 let him do all this to my ride.

You must not understand phases of a project.

Anyhow, here's another update pic. The framing is just about complete, a few adjustments are being made and the meshing is in. The rest of the fiberglass work will be started this evening into tomorrow.

Overall, the project is still on par to be finished by Wednesday next week.

Well Steve I hope you thought about your rear taillights.If that box covers the sides comepletely then you wont be able to change your bulbs and god forbid someone hits your car in the rear and takes out a Tail light like what happened to me.Because you will not be able to change it.

Wrong. Polk got bought out which screwed my deal, so I did pay for this out of pocket. This was an unexpected last minute thing I had to do on the fly because Polk sat on there ass for so long to finally tell me that.

Wrong again. The luxury of the design is the fact my side pieces are actually removable panels that allow me access to the equipment and rear taillights for maintenance and whatever else. Once snapped in place and screwed, you will never be able to tell unless you look closely. THe side edges are held in my the screwpost tat's factory on the car that holds the black knob for the cargo net.

SOmeone asked about seeing the backside somehow.. well.. I had a quick chance today to snap this quick shot. Tomorrow all the pieces will be smoothed out and prepped. Monday morning the pieces go in for painting and everything will be put together on Tuesday and done by Wednesday.

Most of the stuff can be bought at a boating supply store when doing things of this size. Getting the small cans of glass at home depot will be VERY expensive.
