not a total losss yet anyway

So first ill start im a marine so im not back home very often with that i dont drive too much. I know im not well known on c3g yet but im trying to help others out with what know-how i have. I got a call from my fiance today that she crashed the my car ( silver 00 gt) into a tree...well shes fine the car is not a loss but needs some new body parts.

She has yet to take pictures and honestly im not sure if i want her too. From what she says it was a tree and a guardrail... not sure what she was doing but that wont change anything. Now i need at minimum:

Front bumper
Passenger side fender
Passenger fog light
Passenger side marker/vents

At this point im considering just doing a swap to the 03 bumper since there isnt a price difference on rockauto.com and i could just buy the new fogs.

What i plan on buying in addition is a new driver side fender (has a small dent from when i bought it) and a rear bumper because its been rear ended one too many times. With all of this new stuff im thinking about a color change....i dont know yet. I would really appreciate some opinions on this.

If you want to see what it looked like heres my ride thread
My 2000 GT

Thanks!

Good to hear your wife is okay. For those parts you can try searching the for sale section's part out threads, might get a better price than rockauto.

I remember my first accident. It was in a 99 avenger and in the rain I took a curve kind of fast and the car ended up doing a 180 and jumping a curb ending in hitting an electric pole pinching in the drivers side door and bending the rear crossmember. (which means the rear driver side wheel was bent inwards about 45 degrees. I still drove the car home that night which was like a 10 mile distance.

I dont think that was much fun
Mine i learned to never slack on tires! It was raining pretty bad and I was driving about the speed limit actually and my tires had been bald and i was broke (being 17 at the time) and well i went to speed up into a turn onto a major road and the car did a 720 stalled and slammed into the median...luckily i was the only car on the road but i was scared as all hell and panicked. Made my best friend drive me home

I see you're from central NJ, so you must know parkway entrance 139 in union NJ. There's a big curve before that entrance ramp and that's where I crashed. Then that 10 mile drive was mostly on the parkway and then Rt. 1.

Just a little bit, don't go towards there much. I'm usually in new Brunswick on Friday nights though. But I live in Woodbridge so pretty close distance wise.
