Shit. Sorry about that.

Anyhow, here's a quick screenshot. You can click on the "rating" (+4) and view the feedback jsut as you would on eBay. The best part, you can search a membername and see the rating.

THe next step after deploying these feature, is enabling the rating to display under the username in the FS section. So.. you would see

I caught that but yes that would be a good idea. Have a forum dedicated to just that. That way if you see something you like, you go to that forum and check that seller out instead of trying to search for him until you get tired.

That would be a great idea. It would be a way for those that buy or trade items here to know who's honest and who's a dirtbag (which might be quite a few here).

Having an integrated seller rating system is good idea, but there's a few bumps on the road with this process.

In addition to that, there are some concerning issues with this. For one, this rating system can be easily abused, as it does not dictate who gives you a rating. Some noob can simply register and give you a feedback even though he or she never bought anything before, and I can see people asking their "buddies" to boost their ratings. Although I will admit searching through the Good/Bad Guys forum can be a hassle, at least it gives you a more indepth feedback and in most cases, is more legitimate.

Another issue that really affects this proposal is the server itself. Many of you should notice by now that Club3G's hosting service has become rather finicky in recent months, and if the server decides to go the way of the Dodo Bird while we're in the midst of installing this modification, this could lead to some nasty repercussions. Same reason to why the RPG game has not been installed yet, for those of you that are wondering.

Our main concern at this point is the addressing the server issue at this time. Until then, trying to implement forum modifications is too risky.
