Vista Password Recovery
OK. My friend just brought me his moms laptop. She changed the password on it and now cant remember it. It is a Vista Home Premium system. I can only get as far as the user log in screen and there is no switch users option. I have tried two password crackers, Ophcrack and PCLoginNow, and neither worked. I cannot get to the Administrator login prompt. Anyone know how to get into this machine???

You should be able to, CTRL/ALT/DEL to get to the old school login screen and manually type in Administrator, and hope they didn't set a password.
Try this, and tell me how it goes. Offline NT Password & Registry Editor |

I finally got it. I tried 8 different products. The one that finally worked was called The Hiren95 Boot Disk.
