Quick DVD burning question.

I was just wondering what I would have to do to get a dvd that is burned from a VLC media file (.avi) to be played on a regular DVD player. I currently have Alcohol 120% and DVDShrink, though they aren't installed right now.Any help would be great. I want to get all these damn files off my computer. I'm taking up like, 20 gigs in just movies right now

txgt : who are you?
There might be some codec issues. Could always try an Avi to Mpeg converter to see if that works for you.

I use ConvertXtoDVD exclusively to burn ANY format video file onto a disc to be played on a regular DVD player. It also lets me put two(or more) movies into one disc at a time

Or check if your DVD player is compatible with DivX or Xvid. I know mine supports those formats.

Looks like Searching on Google is better.

Burn iTunes video to DVD, iTunes TV shows/movies to DVD
