this is so sad.. a disgrace to 3g owners

I was driving in town tonight, and happened to see another 3g. Well, I was thinking.. hmm I don't normally see alot of these around here, so I went in the direction he was going. I noticed his car was lowered, and he had an exhaust. But then, I see a gt emblem.. So I'm thinking I would follow behind him and see how his car sounds. ( I like to compare

) But this thing sounded like a 4cyl... I think maybe its just a quieter exhaust than mine, and sounds different. But, as I moved a little further up, I notice that... He doesn't have the v6 emblems (which could have been removed) He has the Gs wheels, and has drums instead of dics in the back. He slows down some, and I am right ahead of him, only to look back and see some Autozone foglights. Then you will never guess what he tried doing..

Thats right.. Racing me. But seeing as how this was in the middle of town, with alot of stoplights, and it wasn't on the track I wasn't going to do any sort of racing. He keeps getting beside me revvin up his engine, and spinning his tires at EVERY light. So, i get ahead of him, and head towards the freeway. As always, he was right on my ass so I figured I would see if he could at least keep on my butt getting on the freeway, and well.. after I stomped on it ( just getting up to the speed limit on the freeway) he steadily fell behind.

Dude...I have nothing against chevys, don't get me wrong. I'm just saying that as a whole, S/C Cobalts are slow as molasses in january. If you're keeping up with c5 good for you, now instead of just running your mouth how bout you post some pics of this car of yours because if its so "fast" I'd love to see what you've done to it. If you can post up a pic of your car and I see a fair amount of mods done to it I'll apoligize and wish you on your jolly way, but chances are you're just another stock cobalt owner that thinks their car gods little blessing to the car industry.

I made the statement that, he was posing to be a gt, whilst having a 4 banger, and he tried racing. I didn't say I raced him either. All I did, was push my FRACTION FASTER THAN A BICYCLE GT AS WELL, to the limit getting on the freeway, and proceded to walk away from his N/a muffler tipped, gt badged, otherwise known as stock rice, while getting on the road.

I know my car is slow, but this thread isn't about how "fast" my car is, or anything. Just about him posing, being dumb, and being a typical teenager.

I happen to think the whole situation was quite amusing.

Have one of your "fast" cars in the area race me. I'll take some pics of the mods that I have done. I have a full 3" exhaust, 60lb injectors, a wicked tune from zzperformance (who has a twin charged cobalt with 440hp) 2.8 pulley aem CAI. non performance mods include 19' adr rims dual halo projectors with hid's painted tail lights. I had a 3g eclipse i thought it was badass and faster than a pos cobalt until I bought one. My eclipse was slower than the cobalt stock for stock. When I modded my cobalt it got even faster. I have also raced a modded gsx awd and beat it. Whatever, I'm only defending you saying my cars is slow. Put your money where your mouth is and step up

What did you expect? Who has time for that anyway. I have had people try to race me when it is like MOVE DB I am not trying to race I am trying to get somewhere. Also I think badging up or badging down a car to trick people into thinking the car is faster or slower than it really is is dumb. Either leave the badges stock or debadge the whole car.

Just.. a way with alot of stop lights. I said his 4cyl being a girl car, because well... Eclipses ARE girl cars, I drive one, I don't really care. I never once said my gt was "Fast", and I was just talking about how he tried to say his was a gt. Also, Congrats if you have a fast 4cyl. WHen in my post did I say I could beat all of yalls Boosted 4cyls? Never. I made the statement that, he was posing to be a gt, whilst having a 4 banger, and he tried racing. I didn't say I raced him either. All I did, was push my FRACTION FASTER THAN A BICYCLE GT AS WELL, to the limit getting on the freeway, and proceded to walk away from his N/a muffler tipped, gt badged, otherwise known as stock rice, while getting on the road. I know my car is slow, but this thread isn't about how "fast" my car is, or anything. Just about him posing, being dumb, and being a typical teenager. I happen to think the whole situation was quite amusing.

I have a full 3" exhaust, 60lb injectors, a wicked tune from zzperformance (who has a twin charged cobalt with 440hp) 2.8 pulley aem CAI. non performance mods include 19' adr rims dual halo projectors with hid's painted tail lights. I had a 3g eclipse i thought it was badass and faster than a pos cobalt until I bought one. My eclipse was slower than the cobalt stock for stock. When I modded my cobalt it got even faster. I have also raced a modded gsx awd and beat it. Whatever, I'm only defending you saying my cars is slow. Put your money where your mouth is and step up
