My friend who has more exprience racing than me was driving against a guy with an rx-8 sadly to say he beat us is this the usual outcome or did my friend just have bad luck. All i have is an AEM cold air intake and the rx-8 didnt have any upgrades but we werent that far behind that nose of my car was a few feet away from his cars trunk.

These cars aren't fast, get used to it. And I'm assuming you were street racing, be prepared to get flamed.

It doesn't necessarily depend on the driver, the RX-8 probably was lighter and more powerful, it all depends on a power/weight ratio to make a car go faster not necessarily the driver

Let me guess, you're 16-17 and he's probably 17-19, which makes him ubber experienced with racing.

auto rx8's are turds and the manual's are a waste of money. For the same money you can get a 350z which will make the rx-8 look like a 3g lol. Manual v 6 3g's aren't really fast but for their class i would say slightly better than average. If you have a 4 banger then turbo or get used to being slow

No, but seriously.. It's a good car for the pricing, but it's not as fast as people might think for a v6.

Once, when I was driving to work, I got passed by a dude in an electric wheelchair. I tried to pass him, but he was going too fast. Those little buggers got a LOT of torque.

yea sadly to say 3g v6 are slow i mean i got beat by a honda sti or what the fuck ever it is i hate honda but yea unless you spends some on the engine or a swap just drive around and try to look good lol

edit: but i am still a proud supporter of Mitsubishi, one of the best organized and friendless communty i have ever been with. now i am planning on putting my car in storage and going to try to buy a 90-91 eclipse gsx i would like a evo but i don't think that is ever going to happen lol

Im pushing about 3000HP to the wheels. I dont race cars cause when I pull up next to them they brake down.

Only 4 but they are special combo stickers. they each feed off each other to add more HP
