dodge ram hemi vs same crx and my gt
dodge ram hemi was stock 4 door quad cab on chromed steel wheels(all stock) was smoked by the same crx i raced by about 1 1/2 cars from a roll and a dig.
After we checked the interstate for cops and imperfections on the road to do our final run- 2nd race was me and crx on a 50 mph roll in 2nd gear on the interstate. he pulled 1 car at the end of 2nd and pulled another at the end of third and caught up at the middle of 4th gear and passed him at the end of fourth (my handicap was 2 passengers = 340lbs + 2 tires in the back 70lbs.) |

why does everyone always say they had 2 tires in the back? Now I sometimes carry 2 spares with me when I hit the trails, but why the hell does everyone carry 2 tires in an eclipse... then race at 100+ speeds down the interstate... I call BS

And why in the world did you race to the end of 4th? I mean, 3rd ends at what, about 90, so 4th tops out near 120 or something? Jesus, I hope you carry several forms of ID so that the paramedics can identify the body parts if you ever crash.
And a side note...you probably passed him by the end of 4th because he let off before that. You, sir, did a ricer fly-by. |

i didnt add the weight savings, clutch (stg1 almost like stock),new oem flywheel, deyeme side motor mounts, polyurethanne front and back mounts, es shifter bushings, alpine deck, 40 series muffler w/ custom piping less bends, cf hood because i didnt think those were even mods that would help me from a roll
also has power slot rotors tein s tech springs and kyb adjustables (doesnt help at a roll too, well at least not alot probably would help about 1 foot of ground to gain) one of these days ill get a vid of me doing sound clip runs but i dont have a camcorder Last edited by mjae; 02/23/2006 at 12:29 PM. |
