Trying to Recouperate for an FSU Rugby Game

So Im playing College Rugby- and we got a home game saturday against FSU. ( sucks for them their football team play that day) Today I pulled my left hamstring, doing some tackling drills. Is not a bad strain, I could still walk and do some minor running other than that everything else is off limits. I appreciate any comments of how I could get back to 100% by the Game on Saturday- Im a starter and also the hooker (scrum position)...

what im doing-
Light ice
stretching
loading up on glutamine ()
hot baths follow by cold showers

Epsom salt is supposed to help with those sort of things. So maybe next hot bath you get you should throw some of that in there. The only other 2 things I can think of are a heating pad, or an ace bandage. I am definitely no expert. The epsom salt is really the best thing I got for ya

Keep it wrapped tight whenever you are up and walking around. Apply heat not cold. Buy a heating pad and have it on there on a low setting when you're laying around. When its game day have it wrapped tight.

Glutamin helps strip lactic acid from muscles which relieves muscle soreness....its not going to repair anything. Hate to say but its not going to be much help.

Fill up the tub with hot water and soak your body as much as you can. do some light stretches. WHen game day comes around that adrenaline will be flowing through you, and it will be the last thing on your mind.

+1 on the Epsom salt baths. Soak for 30 minutes in Epsom salt and the hottest water you can stand. Use actual Epsom salt - no other kind will do. A big carton is like $3 or less.

You can do this up to 3x a day.
