What the hell is wrong with our government subsidizing bailouts to help stabilize and reduce catastrophic failures with important financial institutions? We as a country really don't need Freddie Mac or Fannie Mae to fail. The loans they provide are too important to allow the two to go under without some form of aid.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with it. The crowd that is bullied into fearing the government believes it would, but they obviously do not have the slightest clue as to what they are talking about. If you think about the chain-reaction collapse that could have come from these two institutions collapsing, the latter would have been much, much worse. Atleast now we are essentially putting it on Lay-a-way (lol) and pay off what we owe, and America is one step closer to being secure.

If you don't like Government handouts, then go complain about the Iraq war in which we spend $10 billion a month, I don't mind as much if the money is being spent IN AMERICA fixing our problems, rather that rebuilding someone elses country.

I forgot I even wrote that

So yay for mass deregulation How McCain is still floating along keeping this race going is beyond me. He professes to share almost identical views on everything as the Bush administration and said administration has put this country in the toilet. Unemployment is at its highest since the Great Depression, investors have lost billions in the market, we're still mired in a seemingly endless war that's cost over a trillion taxpayer dollars and counting, human rights violations and suspension of habeas corpus, horrid environmental record, bad foreign relations with both our enemies and allies...

Oh yeah, McCain's such a maverick and he's gonna shake things up My ass.

It almost makes me sick to hear some of his commercials, as I know there is a whole flock of mindless sheep that are going to buy into it...
