As far as chrome goes, those wheels look great. Love the engine bay. Overall great looking car.

 

I'm not a huge fan of the wheels, but the rest looks pretty good to me. What you did with your subwoofers is similar to what I want to do with my audio project. How did you go about doing that?

Where did you get the upper radiator hose from??? I have been looking for a new silicon one, but have been unable to come up with anything.

 

Car looks good overall.. not a fan of chrome. What did you use as "anti-flash" on the rear license plate?

The standard chrome loom is very common and should be available locally for you. The hard stuff to find is the chrome red and chrome blue. (Which I have access to and sell.. hehe

thanks for the feedback. i updated the post to contain links to the products in question. As for the radiator hoses and various knick-knacks you can find them all on ebay for reasonble prices. The sub boxes were made by a fellow in another forum and i don't think he makes them anymore but if you want an idea for a molded stereo box, just use a basic subwoofer single box and carpet it over with a big square of that speaker carpet and it might work. :hspin:

probably. I work south of denver in lone tree, live in the middle {6th and federal} and travel north every weekend to lafayette for family. Plus i tend to take canyon runs behind boulder but not unless its a really nice day. Occasionally I go to some shows and DB drags if they involve free prizes in any way so you might have seen it here too. If you see me around, feel free to say hello.

 

The wheels are god awful. Otherwise its lookin alright.

 

really? i thought these rims were god awful in my opinion. I guess we all think differently in regards to rims.

 

wow that alarm is awesome! how much was it?

 

it was expensive. The alarm i got off ebay for about 300 shipped, and i spent about 1000 getting it installed. Every year I get tax returns from my hard work and that bill pretty much took it all, but its worth it to protect your investment IMO. Normal car alarms like viper/beltronics/clifford were nice however they didn't give me the information i needed if the car were violated. The alarm would simply make noise and cry essentially until someone who cared enough came along to turn it off. If you look at peoples' reactions to a car alarm you find that it is one of the most often ignored sounds out there, which is why i wanted to get something that had more of a response to it. Overall, it is really cool and even has remote start for the manual. Finally it has a network interface port so you can hook a laptop to it via special cable and run the software from the website to program and run diagnostics if you wanted. If you want to know any more, just ask! :metal:
