At first glance I didn't like them, but after more thought I'll probably be getting replicas of these.

Hrmm.... I might have grazed $2500 thus far and I think. But I need a FMIC so that will eventually bring the total turbo cost up another $800 or so.

If they made a cf area where the shine street sticker was, you had a cf hood, along with the current cf wing, that would look extremely hot. You know I still got love for your car regardless though

Yeah I can get a CF lip from Pooh, and I'll eventually have the CF hood.. but it is rather low on my priority list since I really need a FMIC first.

Showed out at Hot Import Nights tonight with Rulez + Daves2001EclipseGT

Over 300 cars showed tonight, and they only picked "Best Mitsubishi" and you all know that there is a buttload of competition from the 2G Eclipses out there with their lambo doors and fully glassed out interiors.

Regardless, here is some pics:

He meant getting a FMIC would bring the Turbo TOTAL up another $800.

Keep in mind I keep my car in tip top condition and I'm very meticulous with the fine details to insure my kit is running good all of the time. I am happy to report that yes, I'm 15K and counting with my non intercooled turbo. I sort of picked up where Chris left off with the kit. If I had a company to duplciate my piping, I could resell the xtech kit and show the Club3G community what real power is all about.

What can I say, I love the car. Not many people can pull of a silver car anymore, but you hit the nail on the head. No overkill on the chrome nor the black/CF, but rather a perfect blend. I love the drop and the SS kit, and the turbo, of course, is amazing. The wheels are growing on me, I did not like them at all when I first saw them, and I still don't think they are the best wheels you've had on your car thus far, but I'm sure they look stunning in person, and it's not a wheel you see on every other Civic either.

Right now I'd say your car is just about perfect. So where else is there to go from the top (note: future plans)?

LOL thank you for the review Marcus

Front Mount Intercooler, then I'll move into internals and pumping up the boost.

As far as external feature mods (other than the FMIC), I'm a little hesitant to go with a CF hood because I think they are a tad bit on the ricey side . I might also bolt on my fender flares to finish up my SS kit.

Please, please don't get a CF hood. Why would you ruin the clean lines you have now and throw on an abrupt, non-color-matched hood? I just see no point in it.

Stick with engine work and maybe the fender flares, then end the exterior mods.

Natedog, I tend to agree with Marcus a little bit. I mean, I'd rather the car look a little bitmore on the classy side by keeping the hood clean and silver. Not saying that people with cars with CF hoods are not classy by any means, it does seem to throw things off a bit.

Why do people color match their side mirrors? Because having a complete silver car then out of nowhere, black side mirrors, it looks tacky and out of place. Color matched mirrors look a helluva lot better. Why would it be any different for a hood? A color matched hood will always look better than a CF/black hood.

No way! On our cars the mirrors fit within that "D". It's not like our mirrors are attached to the skin of the door or the fender. I think color matched mirrors on a silver car look out of place when you have the entire "D" area tinted black.

Why not get a CF hood and color match it?

It does save weight... if u even care about weight.

You get what I'm saying though. A body panel of a different color, which is side by side to other panels of the same color, looks silly.

You know guys, I really really really want a hood that keeps the exact same hood line with inverted scoops.

Something like that, but follows the lines of the car better. I want it painted just like that too.
