Jordan777er's '02 Titanium Pearl

Hey everybody, I changed my interior lights to blue LEDs, so I figured it would be a good time to take a few pics. I painted my calipers blue as well, but I think the blue may be a little to bright for my tastes. Any opinions on it?

I know my car is dirty lol. I plan on washing/waxing it in the morning. Sometimes when I look at the calipers, the look REALLY ricey, but from some angles and from a distance, it looks good, so I'm kinda on the fence about it...suggestions anyone?

Car looks good. I personally think that red calipers would've looked better.

I just used the size 194 wide angle LEDs from superbrightleds.com. They're the ones that have five LEDs on one base. The HVAC calls for the size 74 LEDs.

Haha, I was planning on painting them, but it was going to be flat black, not blue. I'm going to the wrecker's yard on Thursday to look for the parts to do the Drum to Disc conversion. I was even able to get my dad to pay for so I can use my money on other things. He agreed because I was able to convince him that it was a "safety issue" lol.

haha very nice. I've been trying to do a drum to disc conversion but I've been lazy. The black would be fine for the drums

Yeah, I accidentally got some paint on the rotors...I think it'll just scrape off when I brake, but I'm gonna see if I can get it off some other way first.

I would of just used that duplicolor caliper paint kit. You can brush it on and its a lot easier.

Nice work so far. The calipers would look better in red IMO.

Titanium pearl FTW!

I went to just about every Autozone/Advance Auto Parts in Bossier City, but I couldn't seem to find the brush on kit in anything but Yellow or Black...does anyone know of another store that carries the kits?

Yeah I got my LEDs off of ebay and installed all of them and they do not work worth a damn lol. Did you have to peel the covering off of the gauge cluster, I have read that it has to be done.

Do you mean the green thing? If thats what you're talking about, then you don't have to. You just gotta twist the little black things so that they pop out, then you can replace the lights with the LEDs.

What I was told (I do not know first hand) is the the gauges are orange stock because they have a film or tint on them and to change to blue you will have to peel that film off. Im trying to do the swap but have not got it yet.

Oh okay, the orange stuff was only on my needles, and I just used sone non-acetone nail polish remover and it comes right off. That's the only place I had to remove orange...do you have an '00-'02 or an '03-'05? I know the front of the gauges are different, but I've never seen the back of the '03-'05 gauges.

So, I got bored and made a grille for my car because I'm too cheap to buy one.

I also installed some Hella Optilux 2500's too. I don't have a pic of them during the day, but here's a couple of night shots.

Just halo's on both
