Looks good so far! Next id say get some new wheels.
Unless you saying no pics of the engine bay means its all stock then first get a cold air or short ram intake.
Happy Modding!!

Yeah, it's a pretty simple mod and costs like ~$15 worth of LED's, and about an hour of work to do.

Haha, yeah I saw your Galant thread and then looked for your car. And man I feel bad for what happened to it. Anyways, if there was some way I could change the thread title, I would for obvious reasons. Anyone know how?

I just got some DEPO reverse lights for my car and I have a question. What would you suggest I do for some tails? I've always thought the 03 and up stock ones looked fine and I like the fact that they have the orange turn lens versus the red ones and I like that more. But here's the problem: Black contrasts too much with my color (steel blue) and that with the clear reverse lights I just added, it looks kinda funky. Chrome tails are out of the question because that screams rice and they fade terribly. Opinions?
Here's the lights for reference instead of having to scroll back up to look:

rims, drop, debadge the "RS". For once I'm going to say stick with the stock tails/headlights, I can't see black projectors or TYCs working well with the color and aftermarket chrome lights look like shit.

Also, a chrome 5-piece grill could really add to the theme you have going.

Yeah, I was thinking about getting a Mr. Grille grille. They're like $80 and look sweet. I probably plan on getting chrome Sonar's for the headlights, because my stock reflectors are just too dim. My fogs are 2x brighter than my headlights. I could literally drive with just those on.

Well if a mod could change the thread title for me that'd be great. I can't or I would have when I figured out I was wrong about the color.

Well, I finally got my blue conversion done. Anyone recommend something to fix the hotspots? If not, that's fine. I'll just re-sand it with some even finer grit paper.

Hey, I've got a some of the same stuff I used to make my grille left from when I made mine. Its more than enough to make another. You can have it if you want it. That way it'll only cost about $4(or however much the zip ties cost) instead of $80

Well, just got a set of projectors. Used, but in great condition. Here's some pics, they are in the main group in the first post too. No, they are not HID yet, the camera made it look like it..

I will probably get a 4300k HID kit for my birthday in March, then I'll see what these things can really do.

Looks good, I'm sure the cell pics don't do them justice. I'll have to swing by and see them in person sometime this week.

I have the same color, 03' GS,
I was wondering the names of your:
Headlights, clear corners, and the reverse lights.

And/or where you got them, that would be much appreciated,
Also the LED change... i need to do that really badly to mine... Um, i know of 2 how-to threads on that, (one with pics, one without), any help???
But anyway, the Needles... how do those get fixed so they light up??? I've heard people talk about a couple things... like Nail polish remover, white out, etc. but i have no idea, being most LED swaps are to red.

*sigh just follow the how-to's exactly and you won't have a problem. You can get the LEDs from here. There is also a bulb size chart stickied on here somewhere, just search for it.

Also, if you look at the very first post, you will see that he listed every thing he has done to this car.

They're in the bumper with some holes I drilled. I'm actually in the process of re-doing the bolts used cause they almost fell out . I'll see if I can get some pics from up under there tomorrow. And as for the headlights, I'm about to get some 5000k HID's for the depo's.

Eh, I don't like the look of white turn signal bulbs. Every time I see another car with white led bulbs or something else in there, I can't see it; amber I can.

Is there any better way to get your gauge pins back in and calibrated than just driving at the same speed as a friend? It just seems unsafe and annoying.

I didn't do that. When I put my needles back in, I let the car warm up for ~5 mins or to make sure the temp would be even and such. So I put that back in as close to the middle as I could. The gas one I marked off before I removed it so I'd know where to put it back on at. As for the spedo and tach, I put the tach as close to 700 rpm as I could guess and the spedo, I held the red part against the pin that holds it up from falling after the car is off (which is 0 MPH) and then pushed it back on. I've done some checks (like the riding next to a friend, and a radar gun ) and it's accurate.

I have an OBDII scantool that i used to make sure the RPM's and speedo were correct, but that's not an option for everyone i guess. If you have a Sporty, then the tranny shifts into 4th gear at exactly 30 MPH. Jackstand the car, and keep sticking the needle on until it shifts into 4th at 30 MPH. When the car is warmed up, stick the RPM needle on between the 500 and 1000 mark, but a little more towards the 500 mark

It shifts into 4th at 30mph? That can't be right, at all.... Unless you mean just holding the pedal down in D...

Yes, the timestamp is wrong. They were taken today (3/8/09)

Some new pics as I was finishing up on the Hella's. They almost fell out

Yes, it desperately needs a wash and polishing. I'll do that in a couple of weeks around my birthday. Video of exhaust coming up soon. I'll post it when it's done uploading here and in the SP2 thread in PR\O.

Some newer pics after being washed and polished. Nothing has changed, HID's in a few days.

Yeah, dent is obvious, but oh well. People have no respect, no matter how far you park away from the place you're going.

A rock hit there, if you're wondering. That day sucked.

ewww sorry about my noob post up there. Car is looking good though.
I've yet to decide exactly what i want to do with mine.
I think a nice grille would finish up the front nicely.

edit~ just wondering, do you have tan headliner? and are you planning on going black with it?

Here's some new pics of the tails and a couple of crappy pictures of the HID's. I'll get better pics of those eventually. I got a really slammin' deal for the TYC's, and yes, they're real, not knock-offs (you can tell by that crescent design in the reflector).

Yeah, I need to get that halo fixed in the drivers side Hella, and I need to get a new bulb for my license plate apparently. I just noticed it was out in the pics. Lemme know what you think, now all the lights are aftermarket, and all match.
