Newer Pictures on page 2!
Well, I've been here a for a little while now and after cleaning/washing my car I took some pics. Sorry for the shitty-looking blurriness, it's an old 2MP camera and it was low light, bah. I just got some DEPO reverse lights for my car and I have a question. What would you suggest I do for some tails? I've always thought the 03 and up stock ones looked fine and I like the fact that they have the orange turn lens versus the red ones and I like that more. But here's the problem: Black contrasts too much with my color (steel blue) and that with the clear reverse lights I just added, it looks kinda funky. Chrome tails are out of the question because that screams rice and they fade terribly. Opinions?
Here's the lights for reference instead of having to scroll back up to look: ![]()

Yeah, I was thinking about getting a Mr. Grille grille. They're like $80 and look sweet. I probably plan on getting chrome Sonar's for the headlights, because my stock reflectors are just too dim. My fogs are 2x brighter than my headlights. I could literally drive with just those on.

Good start man, and I feel you on the lack of fundage. Tech eats up every last penny I scrape up haha. We should see how many people are in Shreveport/Bossier and have a mini-meet or something...

Hey, I've got a some of the same stuff I used to make my grille left from when I made mine. Its more than enough to make another. You can have it if you want it. That way it'll only cost about $4(or however much the zip ties cost) instead of $80

Well, just got a set of projectors. Used, but in great condition. Here's some pics, they are in the main group in the first post too. No, they are not HID yet, the camera made it look like it..
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I will probably get a 4300k HID kit for my birthday in March, then I'll see what these things can really do. |

I have the same color, 03' GS,
I was wondering the names of your: Headlights, clear corners, and the reverse lights. And/or where you got them, that would be much appreciated, Also the LED change... i need to do that really badly to mine... Um, i know of 2 how-to threads on that, (one with pics, one without), any help??? But anyway, the Needles... how do those get fixed so they light up??? I've heard people talk about a couple things... like Nail polish remover, white out, etc. but i have no idea, being most LED swaps are to red.

I have an OBDII scantool that i used to make sure the RPM's and speedo were correct, but that's not an option for everyone i guess. If you have a Sporty, then the tranny shifts into 4th gear at exactly 30 MPH. Jackstand the car, and keep sticking the needle on until it shifts into 4th at 30 MPH. When the car is warmed up, stick the RPM needle on between the 500 and 1000 mark, but a little more towards the 500 mark

Yes, the timestamp is wrong. They were taken today (3/8/09)
Some new pics as I was finishing up on the Hella's. They almost fell out ![]() ![]() ![]() Yes, it desperately needs a wash and polishing. I'll do that in a couple of weeks around my birthday. Video of exhaust coming up soon. I'll post it when it's done uploading here and in the SP2 thread in PR\O. Last edited by Sh4d0wX7; 03/08/2009 at 05:44 PM. |

ewww sorry about my noob post up there. Car is looking good though.
I've yet to decide exactly what i want to do with mine. I think a nice grille would finish up the front nicely. edit~ just wondering, do you have tan headliner? and are you planning on going black with it? Last edited by jstewart92; 04/05/2009 at 10:37 PM. |

Here's some new pics of the tails and a couple of crappy pictures of the HID's. I'll get better pics of those eventually. I got a really slammin' deal for the TYC's, and yes, they're real, not knock-offs (you can tell by that crescent design in the reflector).
Halogen vs HID ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Me and Jordan (jordan777er) ![]() ![]() Yeah, I need to get that halo fixed in the drivers side Hella, and I need to get a new bulb for my license plate apparently. I just noticed it was out in the pics. Lemme know what you think, now all the lights are aftermarket, and all match. |
