Joy. Ike is screwing me up! One of my machinists is located right in the path of Ike. They've been gone for 2 days and who knows when they'll get operational again. I need my other flanges!

Waiting on turbos now so I can start making jigs and finish the prototype. Weeeeeeeee!

Hope this all works out, looks great so far. Might give me a reason to hold onto my car just a bit longer

Had a misfire due to bad plugs so I redid the entire ignition system. New cap, rotor, wires and plugs. While I was at it I also did a compression test. I was amazed to see that the engine has a nice solid 185-190 PSI across the board. I've been beating the shit out of this bitch both on and off track. I want to see how long this motor holds out under boost. It's a street build without aftermarket rods, just forged pistons. It's already seen 300+ whp w/ an SDS for about 15k miles and whatever I'm putting on it now NA. Now that I have my license back it's become my DD as I don't have to worry about getting pulled over anymore.

I want to see how long this thing holds out at 400+whp. I know that this motor will eventually blow up as I see what kind of limits the stock rods can actually take.

Little update. Took the bastard on a trip to WVA to go white water rafting. I got 33mpg doing 80 to 90mph the entire way. I'd love to see what I'd get if I was doing only 70mph.

Finally received something important. Cell phone pics so they kinda suck but you can tell what they are!

I saw some kind of harness coming out if the foglight switch. Did you figure out a way to utilize the factory switch and bypass having to have the headlights on?

Big16Gs.
Project is coming. Unfortunately I haven't had much time to devote to it since I got the turbos as I've had other work to complete.

A member on 2gstratus.org came up w/ a fog light conversion switch so you could have the fogs on with the headlights off. I do not have that. The harness you saw was for my gauge overlays I believe.

you should solar flux the backsides of those welds or backpurge the piping when you're welding. you'll get a MUCH better result without porosity and there will be less crap to grind smooth.
