this is my 00 eclipse gt, and i am no where near done with it. my most recent mod being the paint, which now makes the puke tan interior look even worse. also, before you start flaming the front kit, it was on the car when i rescued it. yes, i said rescue as you will see for your self when you look at the picture of it when i first brought it home. here is my mod list so far....

here it is on its first day at my house......the guy who owned it before me saw fnf way to many times, lol.

and then i made it look like this....

then income tax came in, so of course i blew it all on my car plus a little i made from selling my old car. after calling VIS Racing and Steve at www.sc-customs.com i made it look like this....

and now, my most recent mod is the new two tone paint that i am extremely happy with. two tone may be "ricer" to some of yall, or you may not like the line i chose to go with, but whatever, its mine and i think its hot.

nice car. definately better than when you bought it. but as i said in the two-tone post... i dont like the kit. too over used and doesnt flow well with the car. but to each their own

Well, you're making it look much much better than it originally did. I hate the blitz kit...always have, always will. Your wheels look absolutely fantastic, I love them. I'm indifferent on the hood. Not a fan of those taillights, but at least they aren't the chrome ones. The drop looks good, paint looks great, I like the Sonar headlights. I think if you change up the front bumper you'll have an outstanding looking car.

Don't care for the front bumper at all, but you do need SOMETHING to pull off that hood. Coming along better than its beginning.

well as i stated before the bumper came on the car, its ok to me but i am not really happy with it. i have not really decided on whether or not i wanna get a 03 bumper and go with a lip kit or put a complete body kit on it. i dont want anything ricer looking ( more so than the blitz front end, lol) so thats why i havent done it already.

IMO like others have said I absolutly hate the blitz kit. More than any other ricer kit, but it doen't look too bad on your car because the rest of the car seems to be done flawlessly. I would still changed it tho to. Will make the car look so much better without it. Good work, your really turning the car around from when you bought it thats for sure!

I like the two-tone and everything else the only thing that is killing your car is the front bumper. If you replace it with something different (00-02 front bumper with ss-kit or 03-05 front bumper with ww-kit) i believe it will set off that paint job...IT LOOKS MUCH BETTER THAN BEFORE!

I'm going to go out and say that I don't like the two-tone. I'm usually a big fan of the two-tone, but from seeing your car go from that awesome black to the silver and black it just lost me.

Like everyone else said, the kit I'm not a fan of either.

On the whole though, you've done a fantastic job with it!

I like the two tone, but the front bumper and tail lights with the big chrome circle throw it off a lot. Once you change out the front bumper like you say for something different and think about getting new tails the car will start coming together.

well, i kinda figured this would turn into a "your front bumper sucks" thread. i pointed out in the first post that it came on the car, and i also pointed out in my reply earlier that i just havent found what i want to replace it with yet. but its ok, i like all the positive feed back otherwise. the tails are also getting replaced soon with the new all black led lights that zomk speed has out. all in all its my car and im gonna put what ever i like on it, but i do respect yall's opinion on my ride as most of you have been driving/modding the 3g alot longer than me.
also, for those that liked it better black, the stupid fucker that put those red graphics on it fucked up the black paint. when i saw the car in a car lot i was like "man, all i gotta do is de-rice it and im good". but what i didnt know was he taped off the graphics and sprayed the car black. so of course when i remove the damn things there are "edges" that look like someone keyed my car in a tribal design. you cant see them in the pics, but trust me they were there. its so embarrassing when you are at a show and all people care about is those damn scratches and how they got there. "did you drive through a barb wire fence" "damn, who keyed your car" or my favorite, " you drawing out your graphic design". i liked it black, but i wanted to be different. now my car stands out like a silver thumb.

I was gonna post something but you already heard it from countless people so i thinks its better off unsaid. Other than those two things the car looks magnificent. Although not a huge fan of the two tone you pulled it off well. Congrats and keep on with the modding!!!!
