Well it's nobody's fault so I can't be pissed at anyone. It's just that I'm REALLY big on keeping that top free from contact with snow especially the huge amounts coming down now. I made contact with Greg since I posted my last thread and he cleared the top off. I want this top to last for as long as I have this car. That might not be realistic but I definitely want to perserve the top's life as long as I can.

I swear to you when I have multiple ideas for how to clear snow. The only problem is I have no tools here now. ZERO. I wanted to fabricate a fire breathing snow chucking machine... Oh well. We are only gonna get another foot of snow on Tuesday.

Last year it snowed once and was gone the next day. This year we are getting pummeled. We were due. It was nice to finish Mass Effect 2 this weekend.

I tried to go to work today but the shop hadn't been cleared yet. I could drive to it, just not pull a car in or out of the bays. : /

Pussy finally managed to come by. Hence the late posting. w00t. Recharged for another couple of weeks. Fuck I'm getting old but quality over quantity I say!

Pssssh, it's fine with me. I'm in your state now. I was in Newport News and Hampton yesterday. I stay on I-95 from NY to NC. I plan on attending every meet on the coasts of VA and NC this summer anyway assuming this car gets done. If Greg plans on hitting up some MD spots I'm there for that too. Basically if you plan it I'll attend it.

MD 3g meets would be pretty cool. no one mods 3g's around here ever. so far anyone i show my car to tells me i have by far the most modded 3g they have seen. it would be nice to see some different ones fro a change.

Received this pic from Greg last night. The rear end is dropped from the donor GSX. Fortunately this car went straight into the shop so the snow hasn't put this build on a complete standstill.

I took these pics of Greg installing the O2 sims, this is earlier in the day before the whole mess went down with the ECU and motor. I haven't seen these since I took them about 3 weeks ago and forgot I had them. Greg fabricated a plate real quick and put it where the cruise control pump was then bonded the 2 O2 sims to it.

Still unknown. I stopped by Greg's early Tuesday morning to pickup my tools and other things out of the GSX and the Spyder is surrounded by snow and ice in his yard. He has a driveway that's 4-5 car lengths and the snow/ice has reduced it to 2 car lengths. That car isn't going anywhere anytime soon unless a heat wave comes through there. If it wasn't so dark I'd definitely would've took some pics. His area of Maryland got dumped on with snow.

I should be hopefully getting my cousin's bobcat over here this week to help me clear snow out of the back. I just can't do it by hand anymore. I calculated that I did close to 15,000 reps of shoveling snow between the two storms we had in a week. My back is shot.

If you get a chance Greg take a pic from your driveway of the car so we all could see the magnitude of that storm. That snow has turned into brick hard ice.

Same thing up here, it's melting pretty good. 41 degrees is good and if you get that for 7 consecutive days you could be back in business.

thats because snow is self insulating and reflects sunlight, throw a tarp down over where you want to melt on a sunny day and even if its just barely above freezing it will melt it alot faster.

Greg sent me this pic about an hour ago. This is BEFORE the 2nd storm that hit the region. Now imagine that whole area where the tracks and ground are being covered as high as the wall of snow on the right. Then you still have the snow covering half the driveway.

Like I said before, that car isn't going anywhere anytime soon.

Still bringing the Bobcat here though, I have to clear space to park some other cars and also get my personal 2G to the shop so I can finish up the last few items so I can sell her.

The amount of snow we've gotten this winter is absurd. I'm hoping for a nice, good ol' fashioned drought this summer to make up for lost time. Were you holding a meet at your new shop, or do I have you confused with another member?

Going either today or tomorrow morning. Will probably have the 2G rear end installed by the end of the week while I work on the engine to see what's up.

The rear end is dropped from the donor GSX. Fortunately this car went straight into the shop so the snow hasn't put this build on a complete standstill. I took these pics of Greg installing the O2 sims, this is earlier in the day before the whole mess went down with the ECU and motor. I haven't seen these since I took them about 3 weeks ago and forgot I had them. Greg fabricated a plate real quick and put it where the cruise control pump was then bonded the 2 O2 sims to it. __________________ Building THE GREATEST 3G ECLIPSE to date and possibly EVER, built by PharmEcis. 3.7L V6 turbo motor with AWD.
