Thanks for the compliments, between under the hood, the interior, and the lip kit, ive got a ways to go until i feel my car is complete. The only real thing im looking into doing performance wise at this point is the diamante mani and tb, and if i ever blow the motor a 6g74. But i have alot more i want to do

That's tape to support the glass when it is replaced, so it doesn't slide around and get misaligned

i want to get a grillcraft front grill, and i like the stock fake vents, and i wish i had smoked the lights before i installed them because to get them out it is going to be a huge pita because of how i mounted them,

Strong wire wound around the mounting point of the fogs attached to the bumper, then i filled in all remaining space with a strong gasket sealent, they are in there pretty permanently, im thinking maybe if i very carefully mask everything off i can VHT them a few coats, i definitely think it would look good though

hey pace where did you buy those gto tail, reverse, and turn signal light covers at because all i have been seeing is the tint and I really want the covers.

Not sure if i want to or not, im leaning towards getting one but if i do there will be paintwork done, the middle cf and the edges silver, or the other way around. The rear brake lights have the covers, and they came with the car, the rear corners are tinted. IMO go with tint, i will eventually get around to tinting the brakes also and sell the covers. The tint has a much deeper nicer looking black.

Nice car. Love the two tone, makes it look really good. While looking at the pictures I noticed that you have 2 Mitsubishi badges on the trunk? There's a tiny one on the left side.

Thanks, and yea theres 2 badges, the oem one which i painted black, and a small vinyl one that was on there when i bought it. I was going to shave the center one and keep the small corner one but never got around to it

update***im keeping the car (for now) seeing as the guy was denied a loan, so unless he finds a cosigner the car isnt going anywhere.

i think this is one of the cars on here that actually looks good 2 toned and i would take that mitsubishi emblem off the lower left part of the trunk but the car looks great

Car looks great man! I love the RRE bar and the new front bumpers look really good on the car. I'm not a big fan of 2-tones but I would have to agree with martin m, that your Eclipse actually does look good 2-toned.

well you can get the WW kit, from wingswest.com for 569.00 (that is a lot less than your 1000 ebay). and carboncreations.com has it for 479.00

so you can get it pretty cheap, if you look around.

WW kit hands down. It drastically betters the look of the car. I've debated on a new hood for years now, but in the end, the car looks much more tasteful without it.

for racing seats i bought otto-r's off ebay and they are actually pretty nice, i get all kinds of compliments on them.
as far as exhaust, i've heard that if you aren't F/I then you will lose power with the 3-inch, so i would stick with a 2.75-inch.

car was involved in a hit and run this morning, new bumper is toast, hood is way out of alignment, and front crossmember is bent. Not a good start to the day, fucking asshole managed to fuck up my parkedcar royally then take off w/o anyone seeing him. Pics when i get out of work

Sorry to hear about your car. I have a question about your fogs. Do they aim up or too down or anything like that? Im planning to do something along the lines you did with your fogs and the sealant to keep em in place.

You can aim them...but it's very hard because they fill the bumper hole pretty good and touch it in most places around the glass. I need to just use some sealant on mine...

the fogs ended up aligning just about perfectly with one another, one of them points like an 1/8 of an inch lower but its not noticible.

And as far as the damage, it should all be fixed within a few weeks. My front crossmember is going to need to be pulled about a 1/2 inch if i want my hood/bumper line to ever look good again. And i will be ordering a new 03 front bumper...again...and i think im going to go with the fiberglass xtreme gt/z from sc customs, and paint it silver with black scoops to go along with my silver/black theme.

Any input on this?

bumper went in for paint the other day, hoping to have it back tomorow, as for the hood, i recieved my silver c/f from ups freight today, and it had a dent in it, so we'll see what happens with it, im gona call the company and try and have it exchanged tomorow.

But we did put it over the car to see how it will look, and personally i loved it and so did the other guys at the shop

few more teasers, still waiting for the bumper to come back from paint, also i need my front cross member straightened because the hood latch is ever so slightle tweaked that when i open the hood it slams open and to shut it you need to apply so much pressure that the c/f developed a small small spidercrack over the latch.
Hood also will go in for paint this week, opinions on the paint can be given here in this thread Finally the silver c/f hood is on, now help me with my paint line

Pace187 R.I.P. silverside Join Date: Jan 2008 Location: New England Vehicle: 01 GT Posts: 4,209	bumper went in for paint the other day, hoping to have it back tomorow, as for the hood, i recieved my silver c/f from ups freight today, and it had a dent in it, so we'll see what happens with it, im gona call the company and try and have it exchanged tomorow. But we did put it over the car to see how it will look, and personally i loved it and so did the other guys at the shop __________________ Members Ride....Check it out
