Like i said, this is my daily driver, and has been since 2005. I put almost every mile on it since then. It has been in over 15K of damage in the past half year. I almost lost it.... TWICE. With that being said, when i transfer to a new school here in July, I plan on retiring her to be a project car/weekend driver. I will then be driving some POS civic or something.

These are the only good picture i have right now since it has been lowered , which is about a month ago. Now that i look back before it was lowered, that wheel gap just ruin all previous pics.

So these are the only ones i deem worthy for now. I will continue to update them as i go on Photo shoots. Forgive the pics for not being best quality. I have a cheap little 6.0 MP Samsung i got a while back.

The pictures make the car look good but it's 100x better in person, like I said when we met up your hood is awesome! I like the subwoofer box with the Mitsu. logo cutout, nice and original. I think both the Invidia and Evo II sound awesome on the 4 cylinder.

Can't wait to see it once you get the SS lipkit on it and have it painted 2 tone

Pull of the tweeter cover, and there are three bolts. Unscrew, and unplug switch if applicable

You know what? Here's an offer.....maybe sometime before this summer ends, we should schedule a meet half-way between Lubbock and Denton over in Abilene (my hometown) and we can go on a photoshoot! I'll have a garage then and we can put both Eclipses in and detail them before the 'shoot, plus it's a place we can just hangout too.

the first Remix edition i seen, was a gold one. It was really ugly but have all black leather interior which helped it out a lot.

Like i stated, its my DD for now. What it needs to do for me is be reliable each and every day. Once i have a POS car i can use for a dd, the 3g will begin its days on jack stands. Then, i will move on futher into that.

. I was part of the autolog and car domain back in my highschool ricer-rific days. I used to have teh neons and window stickers FTL.

Coincidentally, that would work for me too. I'm currently taking Summer 1 and will be taking Summer 2 in July. So after July would be perfect for me too. After Summer 2 ends I will have 3 weeks before the Fall semester starts.

Count me in too as long as I still have the Eclipse and don't decide to trade in on a Mustang GT (hell I'll go even if I do trade it in). Still unsure as to what I want to do right now.

I got your PM to visit the thread and give some advice/criticism/flaming or whatever.

Honestly - I think the car looks good, you've done a good job and I don't see anything ricey. I'm not a fan of the exhaust that much - not sure what it is, but it doesn't look like a very good one. On your list, your next mod you're planning to do is caliper painting. I think that's a great idea, it was the first thing I noticed in the photos. I know you mentioned painting them blue, and that's obviously to go along with the "neon theme" you have - but I think a dark red or paintmatched would look much better. Blue calipers never look good unless it's a blue car, but that's just my opinion.

Otherwise, everything else looks great. Keep up the good work!

thanks for your opinions! I plan on going blue calipers becuase i plan on the engine bay dress up to be blue/black/aluminum (ish). I think once you can see them both together, it would look better too. Idk. After Bill and I brushed the calipers off with the wire brush drill bit, im REALLY liking the natural silver to them. Do you have any advice or tips about colormatching calipers? I'll go search for an answer after this weekend. Im about to be away from my PC for awhile.

Oh, and the exhaust. Its just slighty bigger piping with a muffler really. Nothing special, but it does have a rather deep sound to it. Thats all i really cared about back then. But im switching to name brand, soon.

. But that all goes to hell when its dirty. But i do like blue as well. Since the engine bay theme will be along those lines, i figured they would match.

I'd go with the Aluminum. If you do use blue though, make sure its a really dark blue. Mine used to be blue and it looked kind of off to me, so I switched to red.

Ok, so heres the calipers! They look exactly the same as they did when they were just cleaned with a wire brush bit and drill

. O well, its more noticable now and hopefuly will stay cleaner, longer. And yes, we did it the lazy way. I didnt feel like bleeding the brakes, and since i will be upgrading brakes within the next few months, these will prolly be changed out.

Nope.. not at all, unless you count a little bit of overspray on the rotors as an imperfection. But that will rub off in a matter of time.

Na we removed the pads from the brakes before paint and reinstalled afterwards. His rear pads were shameful so we did replace them. All in all I am very please they came out looking really good.

I like the subwoofer box with the Mitsu. logo cutout, nice and original. I think both the Invidia and Evo II sound awesome on the 4 cylinder. Honestly - I think the car looks good, you've done a good job and I don't see anything ricey. I'm not a fan of the exhaust that much - not sure what it is, but it doesn't look like a very good one. On your list, your next mod you're planning to do is caliper painting. I think that's a great idea, it was the first thing I noticed in the photos. I know you mentioned painting them blue, and that's obviously to go along with the "neon theme" you have - but I think a dark red or paintmatched would look much better. Blue calipers never look good unless it's a blue car, but that's just my opinion. Otherwise, everything else looks great. Keep up the good work!

They look exactly the same as they did when they were just cleaned with a wire brush bit and drill . O well, its more noticable now and hopefuly will stay cleaner, longer. And yes, we did it the lazy way. I didnt feel like bleeding the brakes, and since i will be upgrading brakes within the next few months, these will prolly be changed out. Heres pics: The goods yo jackstands... again I let them cure for like... 7 hours. Heres bills blue calipers. Mine are now done __________________ If life is a highway, mine is missing some signs.
