Black grill. Then lower it, and it will seriously pull your car together perfectly. It doesn't matter how many mods you do to the exterior, once you lower it it will look 10x better.

yea i think that would definently add alot to my car im a little scared about it being too low for the winter with the stock rims but i think i will lower it hopefully this summer

I can't figure out if my car is p06 ultra red or r70 patriot red and I looked all over the car for the code looks like it's been repainted can anyone tell from the pics which one it may be?

both paints are REALLY close to each other, and camera/monitor could make each look like the other.

judging by your year you should be p06 ultra red pearl. plus the pics make it LOOK more like ultra red, vs patriot red. without parking beside another car of the correct color, there is no way to be sure (since you say it was repainted). but it should most likely be p06 ultra red pearl.

have you looked under the hood, on the firewall in front of the passenger side. There should be a sticker that will tell you your color code.

That's what I was thinking my next question was I was planning on paint just a few interior pieces and autozone has a couple paint choices very close the the color of my car(duplicolor inferno red or ultra red cherry) do you think I could get away with it or just buy the color match ?

By the pictures and the year, I am thinking leaning towards it being ultra red pearl. And I agree with scarr, try finding a friend, coworker, or some other random car that has either one of these colors and compare. Also, you could try bringing it to a paint shop or dealership and see if they are willing to help you identify it.

ok everyone i painted my shifter ring and i dont think it looks to bad but i feel like by itself it looks out of place im thinking about painting the ac vents (just the rings) and the top strip on the door panel any ideas?

im also thinking about painting the vinyl part of the door panel with black vinyl paint

yea i dont like it much either i have a greddy counterwight knob at home but it wont fit for some reason so i have a meagan short shifter comming in the mail and then ill prob change the shifter boot eventually as well

That new knob is a vast improvement.

I don't care for the red ring personally. I would recommend that you do NOT paint your AC rings. Interior painting looks like crap when done by most.

That said, i have seen a member or two do a nice job, but their process wasn't simply remove part, quickly dust it/clean it off, spray paint it... as most people that paint their interiors go about it.

it was WAY more involved. several coats of paint after painstaking prep and post work.

thanks for the imput and i agree about the painting i tried to take my time with the shifter ring took about two hours and i think it looks alot better in person but i deffinently wont go overboard with it lol

haha i was pissed but the reason i didnt fix it right away was because i didnt get the color matched to the car and realized after that it was a shade to light so im redoing it next week this time with the exact car color

New Foglights
New autopage 2-way alarm system w/ remote start

new fog lights

yellow cover (not sure how i feel about them yett)

Next on my to do list is black depo or sonar headlights with 6000k
then hopefully in the spring D2 Coilovers

Yea not my personal choice either. I bought the car with the exhaust like that all i did was change the tip. However it will be in my future plans to change.

Well i probably only going to use the remote start when my car is in the driveway and at train station which are both level surfaces. So hopefully it will be fine.

Hell yeah, the previous owner installed one on my GSX and has a turbo timer with it. I always park in neutral with the E-brake. I don't park the car in gear because I forget the car is in gear after I release the clutch to start it and then the car gets the hiccup.

I'm gonna install one on the 3G and the Evo as well. That bad boy came in handy last winter.

Same here, my driveway is level and everywhere I park in the streets is level also. If I'm ever parked on a steep incline which is very rare then I'll park it in gear.
