I really want to get some new tail lights but I am torn on which ones I want. TYCs are really overrated and waaayyy overpriced IMO...and I really want LED tail lights. I don't want to nightshade them. I would just keep them as is. Here's what i've been looking at:
1. These are only $48. I would leave the white on my bumper lights nightshaded and remove the nightshade on the red part so that they match my tails. The nighshaded reverse lights would match my black painted mitsubishi emblem and wheels. ![]() 2. These are $140. I know these aren't very popular on here but I think they'd match my color scheme very well...plus they dont have those ugly bubbles. ![]() I think they look good on the car... ![]() ![]() Pictures taken from: Piojo12002's Eclipse GTS Spyder! El Paso Tx. 3. $75...ehh these are OK. I know I can do the TYC mod for them but i've heard of too many failed attempts and I dont know of anybody who has done them in my area that'd be willing to help me out. So these would just stay as is ![]() Any opinions/input would be greatly appreciated. I just want to know which ones would look best on my car |

I think I am going to go with the first set of tail lights and re-tint my bumper lights so that only the white part is night-shaded.

Honestly bud, those last taillights would look real sick on your car if you got rid of that stupid mercedes thing in the middle. Thats the first time I have seen that style and actually kind of like it. Just my opinion.

They never have since I bought the car and no one has been able to figure out why. Therefore i'm not too worried about light output or anything. Just looksYeah, I would love to try and take them apart so that I could remove that stupid mercedes symbol but i've seen tooo many failed attempts so I am not even going to try. I think the mercedes symbol will be less obvious with the red tails so I am going to go with those. |

My friend's aunt was in town for a little bit and she has an EXTREMELY nice camera that she let us borrow to go take some pictures. I was honestly scared to mess with any of the features on the camera, but here are a few of the shots that I liked
![]() ![]() ![]() I had no idea this photo was going to be taken. My friend was just messing with the camera as we were heading to the spot for the photoshoot ![]() Oh and I came home from school to this today ![]() All of the new parts should be installed soon

Do it. It really makes a big difference. All I bought for the swap was:
Front Bumper- $40 Turn Signals- $35 Fake Vents- $25 Fog Lights- $55 I installed everything myself using the How-to's in the garage, and literally everything bolted up perfectly. I didn't need to buy anything else besides the things listed above. |

Certifit. Look on their website and see if they have a shop near you. I just called and told them what I wanted, and the parts came in 3 days later. I went and picked them up without having to pay for shipping or anything

Thanks
![]() I went to the shop out in Forest Park, Ga. It's only about a 45 minute drive from where I live so its convenient for me I think it's where body shops purchase parts for customers. That's why there prices are sooo lowPS: I may be needing some retrofitted headlights soon so maybe we could work something out Quote:

Yeah that's what I figured
I do want to own a boosted car at some point in my life. Hopefully the eclipse lasts me until graduation and then I can get something nice with low miles. I really love the 3.8 genesis coupes (before the ugly styling change in 2012 )

The led bulbs needed can be found in the garage section. The only mod you have to do is remove the orange film from the back of the main gauges. If you know what to do it's pretty easy and will take around an hour, but first time it's going to be tricky and will definitely take over an hour

Shut up.

Im sure those gauge faces are a whole new look for you but they look OEM to me. The 01-02 Stratus coupe has black gauges just like that. Ive always thought they look better then any of the 3G gauges.
Love the before and after shots, it looks a lot better.
