**MOVING FIRST POST HERE:
After being on the site for a little bit, i am finally deciding to post up some pictures of my car. I bought it back in October of 2009 as my first car and I love this thing to death I have a lot of plans for my baby but the mods will be coming slowly because i am still in high school and most of the money i earn goes towards the insurance, gas and other misc. expenses but here it is! Let me know what you think. All constructive criticism welcome![]() Exhaust Video:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KMjOSX1M_2M First day I got her ![]() ![]() ![]() Blacked out Tail Lights ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Re-did Tail Lights ![]() Quote:

you need some clear and then some buffing on those tails... make 'em shine.

well, flat tint, looks dirty and old.... or too lazy to finish. but if that is the look you are going for.

Thanks Jacob
I've got some different ideas on what i want to do with all of my lights once i get them and i know you are the man to talk to when it comes to that stuff so ill be gettin in touch with you soon And do you have any idea why my bumper lights do not work? It is really starting to bug me...If i can't find any TYC's soon, I will probably just end up doing this and keeping them on. I just don't have the proper tools to do it right now. |

So today as I was taking my mother out to lunch, I got pulled over and the cop gave me a warning for my tail lights being to dark. So i guess now I am in the market for new tail lights
Anyone have any recommendations besides TYCs? I can't afford those right now and I am trying to find stock looking tails but not the actual oem lights themselves.Right now I am considering these... ![]() Oh, and I have clear bumper lights btw so those will also be thrown on with whatever new tail lights I decide to get. Thanks guys |

I hate these friggin cops but im in the same predicament too man. I like those but not sure cause they seem to look nice from a distance but up close I know they have to look pretty ricey or cheap. This guys is rocking a set that he eventually blacked out, his look pretty nice... Eclipso's 03 Eclipse GT I would say look for another set of OEM tails to smoke with that film off of ebay so it wont be as dark but still smoked. Or you could go for the oem 03-05 lights but whatever you choose to do, keep me updated bro Just dont get no ricey shit lol

Haha. Naw, yours are fine! Im pretty sure mine are darker than yours and yours are more reflective. The main problem the cop had with mine is that they took away from being able to see the reflectors. I dont think you have anything to worry about...

I think the reason you got pulled over for you lights is because you didnt buff the lights till they shine so that probably made it more obvious that you tinted them. If you just go with one or two coats of nite shades I think you would be fine.

Theres a shitty used car dealership with a bone stock eclipse with TYCs on it. I know he probably has no clue what they are and I wanted to see if he would sell them or trade for another set but I have no need for them. PM me if you want specific details man...

So i got together with darkmind0869 yesterday and we went out and took some pics after hanging out. Here are a couple of them...nothing new but I do plan on doing an interior color swap to blue and Sonars with 6000k HIDs within the next 2 weeks. Also, I should have CF TYCs on very soon if I can get this deal to follow through
Anyways....![]() ![]() Nothing special...yet ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

yes richie its new. been on about a week or so. dillion's car is VERY clean lol. the interior is mint haha. he vaccumes his car more than his room. i think i need to addopt that lol.
his car is having one issue. there is a mean tick somewhere in the motor. i can't decide if its a intake valve or if its and an exhaust issue. D when you bring your car back over to do VC and spark plug tube seals then we can get somewhat of a look uptop see if anything is bent. if we cant see anything there we will just have to pull the head off or the exhaust. wont' be too horrible. just gata let me know when you want to get it taken care of. sooner the better. |

So I have a small update...I sanded down the tails again and then went at them with some polishing compound and they came out great! Finally I have nice tinted tails! I also redid the bumper and 3rd brake lights.
![]() ![]() Secondly, I'm torn between what wheels to ask for as my birthday gift. I sorta have the black and silver theme goin on with my car already but it's unoriginal. So I was thinking of going with gunmetal grey wheels but I'm not sure if they would look as nice with how my car already has pieces accented black. Can you guys give me your opinions? Here are the two wheels I narrowed it down to: Gunmetal: ![]() Black: ![]() Thanks in advance! Any opinions appreciated

Well I have a little update. I picked up some brand new wheels this weekend
And I bought the LEDs for the interior color swap. Those should be coming in tomorrow. I am hopefully supposed to be getting together with treehead sometime this week to do the swap and go get some pictures afterwards. So I figured I would wait until then to post some good pictures cause he actually knows what he is doing when it comes to taking photography. But here are two teaser pics for now:![]() ![]() Any comments appreciated

You think so? I thought it might be alittle too high because sometimes when I turn off the car, it knocks the bumper It's in all of the hangers though...Thanks Haha. I'm only 17 so a turbo is waayy out of the question (as of right now ) and it will be lowered sooner than you think
