Puckett69's other ride

I know this isn't a Mitsubishi, but it is my car (For now). I have a buddy buying it from me so I thought I would post it up here before it's gone. It's a 1990 Mustang GT that I built over a few years. I called it FrankenStang before I painted it. Enjoy

The reason I called her FrankenStang.

Finished product

The car when I first bought it.

The build begins

Out with the old junk, and in with the new.

The shortblock before the rebuild. 5.0L 302

After 347 Stroker

The new intake

I decided to do a little paint and polish on it.

I went a little further and polished the heads

5 Lug Conversion

Huge differance between the old 4 lug and the new 5 lug.

Exhaust before

Polish work.

My two babies

Well, I hope you enjoyed my build.

Here's a link to my Eclipse. It will be going through a 3.8L conversion sometime this year.

Thanks. I just wanted to showcase some of my work. I've been spending a lot of time reading through your build thread, and the 6G74/75 threads. That is a ton of reading, but I'm getting it pulled together and I'll post my build process when I start.

You did a great job turning that thing around man. Looks like that one door came off something painted like a British flag or something, lol. Guess it's good your selling i to a buddy, you'll still get to admire your work once and a while.

All those threads are quite long (which is why I made a table of contents) but if you REALLY want to do these swaps you'll take the time and read them entirely while taking notes of all the relevant information. I'm looking forward to seeing another 6G75 build.

Oh yeah, I've spent days on end reading and taking notes on the conversion.

Thanks, and yeah I got parts from a car that was painted like the Austin Powers car. It was a very funny site to see.

I wanted to, but I didn't have the shop or tools for it so I took it to a local guy that works out of his home. I used to do paint and body for a living way back in the day.

Thanks guys. It was a love/hate relationship. I'm now looking forward to this 3.8L build on my Eclipse. I'm putting together my list of parts that I need and once I have all the info I'll start purchasing parts.
