So I've bought my 2003 Eclipse Spyder GTS in 2009 and I absolutely love it. I came across this forum several months ago and ever since I am constantly on it looking for ideas and learning from everyone. I've been hesitant to show you guys since I hit a stupid deer in November going from NorCal back home to Idaho, in Oregon doing 60, and it's not very pretty right now. But I've figured to just do it and get some feedback. Plus today has been the warmest day of the year (at only 69ish) so It was perfect for taking some pics:)
So feel free to comment/make suggestions/criticize. :p

Don't really want to put much into performance since it's an automatic:dunno:

But let me know what I should look into:p

Can't find a pic from the day I got her, but heres what I started with.. if you ignore the messed up front end. haha. Nice and stock and in a tree;)

So here are some pics from when I started my members ride thread (this is after I hit a deer):

Damn Oregon deers!:rant2:

Dual halo projectors. I know, that lining thing around it needs to be taken care of:happysad:

Top down

about where I mounted the heated seats switch.

well you know my car right?, still no interior in it :(:mecry2:
So they are till in factory bag, but I am planning to mount them between the shifter and the cupholder

see this picture..
Yeah I tried to look at your members ride thread to see if I could find some pictures of it installed, but I saw it's still under contraction:( When do you plan on having everything back together?

That's not a bad idea on the switch locations, one on each side sort of.
I was thinking about doing the passengers switch in the location where the cigarette lighter is since I don't smoke and it's the perfect size. But then I'm not sure where to mount the drivers button:scratch:

You can always extend the wiring, that's easy. Then just carefully use a coat hanger to run the wires through the rubber door jam grommet.

Can't wait to see the new seats! I missed my chance to throw in 2¢, but I think a tuck n' roll would look fairly bitchin in there. Did you look into some heated/ac seat set ups at all?

He just bought seat heaters to put in . . .

This is a tuck and roll ...
Its pretty much putting in the pleats without showing a seam.
And as for the heat-a/c combo, I can't find where I originally was going to get them from, but this is the closest I can find
Champion? Seat Systems | Seat Heaters, Seat Cooling, Massage Seats, Heated Seats | Vehicle Seat Comfort
Hmm. i'm not sure how I feel about it. Maybe if i saw it installed on some seats. As for the seat AC, thats pretty cool, i didn't know they had that. But I'm okay without them:) its the cold seats that I hate lol.

Well damn, David text me about the dye you are using
I'll text you when I'm off work later broski.
I'll put some pics of later today or tomorrow about how it went. I'll be done with one door today:)

Cant believe this is the first time ive looked at your thread, the car looks great!

As stated I would straighten the exhaust, replace the fog lights, and fix the mounting tabs on the bottom of the front and back bumpers. Love the drop and wheels! I will be checking back to see how the seats come out.

Thank you!

The exhaust im not too concerned with but I'll look into it this summer. I'm planning on getting projector fogs to replace these ugly ones, and the tabs I'll fix tomorrow if I remember, I keep forgetting
