Today I've started finalizing my AWD build:

replacing oil filter, new bell housing to fit my 6G72 engine + new gaskets (where it was possible).

Tomorrow I will try to install at + transfer + propeller shaft + front axles to the car.

Have solved a lot ot problems with AWD today!!! Have spent 14 hours under the car today.

Front axles have been installed (the wheels and transfer were tested on the car - all is working great! I'm really happy!
9-10 January - I will take my propeller shaft to workshop to make it shorter to fit between my front and rear subframes. And I can have test drive with no AT ECU (just rear and 3rd gear to perform the test ride near the garage

as you had before automatic transmission is theoretically TCU will you change to 5 speed and make a single cable to the gearbox and should wszstko work at all. (home to Legnum I changed from 4 to 5 speed).

I'm practical, not theoretic There will be some problems, due to using 6G72 ecu, I'm not running Legnum one... There's no actual wiring schemes in the internet, I can't find it even in Japan, so I'm just trying to wire all the wires correctly to avoid fail-safe mode.

Some more photos with rebuilded and balanced drive shaft:

Test drive done! I'm full-time AWD now
Excellent driving, minimum slipping on the snow, magic drift, I'm so happy
More photos coming after I will wash my car, replace some minor problems (axle boot, driveshaft boot, exhaust from stainless steel, and fuel tank guard

AWD with 6G72 it's really cool, I can't even imagine what results will be achieved with 6G75.

Air suspension - is adjustable. If pressure is high - it's hard. If pressure is low - car is more soft, than OEM. The shock absorber stiffness on the ride height is adjusting with the volume of air inside the air bag chamber. The more the volume of the chamber is - the lower the pressure inside the chamber, and the softer suspension is. (there're various bags with various volume on the market, so you can adjust it for your self for daily ride)

Of course all is working. It's very unusual feeling to slick on AWD for me with the mad gear ratio of my new AT, it's really more dynamic and 0-60 mph faster:
Gear ratios:
# - 4 s - 5 s
1 - 2.8 - 3.7
2 - 1.5 - 2.1
3 - 1.0 - 1.4
4 - 0.7 - 1.0
5 - ххх - 0.7
R - 2.7 - 3.9

I wondered, too, is on the air, but has just no possibility of adjusting the height of hardness to me dead. thought about the use of adjustable shocks with TEIN EDFC well but do not know how it might work. Have you considered this option? The AIR control sensors have already adapted? looks like this at all?

as the gearbox changed at home with 4AT / 5AT in driving dynamics is a significant difference.

record some video ...

Tein is possible. Any coilover adjustable shock on the market is possible, all you need to do - it's just spend your money I know no projects with EDFC, but it will work (the range of hardness is not very wide).
I have no time to install the level sensors. It will be finished soon (this week).

I'll make video this or next week with power slide on the ice and, possibly on the road with my car's DVR.

It is most likely because you are a few years too late to the scene, so not many companies want to build a super charger for a car that not as many people are interested in. So you mostly have to find used ones now.

No that was not a troll answer, that was simply a truthful answer.

6G72TT will be finished soon (6G75TT is also under construction, waiting for the parts):

Preparing place for new wiring:

It still will be AWD Automatic 5 Speed transmission (but it will be new one, cause of old AT has delay during shifting 3-4 gear)...

My hybrid 6G72TT engine with JDM engine heads
A lot of custom mounts and adaptors to fit it to my engine bay...
Short assy = 3000GT (GTO); turbochargers = TD04; heads (DOHC), engine cover, ignition = jdm car (RHD).

Intercooler piping with by-pass is ready, down pipe is ready.

Just need to complete:
1) front member (front engine mount)
2) piping for heater
3) upper coolant hose

Have tried to start engine with "temporary" wires, but it's failed, due to incorrect wiring with IG1/IG2/ST.
Will solve that problems tomorrow and have the test ride

P.S. Intercooler will be replaced with Mishimoto soon (it's just for testing the engine)

The car is almost ready for daily ride!
Today got a test drive, but got a problem with coolant - overheat due to unknown reason, possibly wrong radiator fan connection (control circuit).
The acceleration is really amazing, NA engine will never give you same feelings! I'm just happy and want to solve all minor problems tomorrow with electric for radiator fan and publish video here
It started even without any DTC (Service Engine Soon lamp), engine works perfect, transmission is awesome (shifting)!

Also need to finish:
- air conditioner piping (to fit it with turbochargers)
- wheel alignment (will have some problems, due to decoration of front tires outer sidewall
- first service for air suspension (front struts is leaking air, cause of cheap rubber o-ring without liquid gaskets)
- realign the propeller shaft suspensions (minor vibration on high load starts)
- connect electrical gauges and sensors

Any ECU (with enough free ports on ECU connector) can be used for Turbo project, all you need - some soldering for transistors, resistors and etc.
With free ports of ECU processor you can control anything: from 3 port boost controller, to MIVEC heads, or switching boost level, switching air/fuel maps.
All you need - is person who is excellent with Mitsubishi ROMS programming I'm know just 2 persons: in Russia (Moscow) and Belarus (Minsk).

I'm using "base" maps of 3000GT with limit of maps at ~10psi, plan to extend it up to ~15-17 psi and buy aem boost controller. I hope, I will adjust my car at dyno stand soon (after all bugs will be fixed and new intercooler, oil cooler and etc will be installed).

Wow you are lucky to have guys like that there. I don't think there is a guy here on the boards thats highly skilled with messing with ECU hardware (but software maybe)
