:rice: but hey everyone starts somewhere. Mine looked like ass in the beginning too. Look at some other black 3g's in the COTM section on the home page and in the members ride threads.

I think it's nice to see people take pride in what they have. It's nice to have different looking eclipses at meets anyways. Kind of lame when every eclipse looks the same. I have seen much worse. The blue doesn't actually clash with the flow of the car so Why's it gay? Because anytime you see blue it's the cool thing to say? I'm personally not a fan of the blue interior but shit at least it's not cracked. Glad to see more people still modding 3g's.

Not quite. Your car looks fine. Do what YOU want to do with it- no matter what you do, someone, somewhere, isn't going to like it and call it "rice" or whatever because it's not their taste. You can't please everyone so do what you like to that car. You'll love it more in the end.

It's your car, rock it how you want. Me personally, I don't like it. But I would have loved it 3 years ago. I grew out of the 2 tone thing but mine used to be a horrid red and black interior with a big ass wing and chrome wheels. I will say yours is more tasteful than mine was. But seriously the above 6k HIDs and the DTF stickers have to go. |

All the random blue crap looks tacky to me - along with the useless high temperature HID's. And don't get OBX manifold. Lower it and polish the wheels lip.

What does the kelvin rating have in reference to blinding oncoming traffic? That would be the type of headlights/projectors, which he already has covered.

Lose the pinstripes, massive blue sticker on the back, debadge your emblems, and take off the LED wiper nozzles. You can keep the wheels, they would look much better with the car lowered, however.
Oh yeah, and repaint your fake vents, they've faded a bit as is normal with these cars.

10k fogs . . . In non projector housings. And I said the Kelvin temp rating was the simple just of it. But we can argue headlight housings all day. To go more in depth even with projector housings higher k HID's are only bluer, not brighter. They're actually putting out less visible light.

I don't know why, but having just blue lips looks really odd to me. I mean a whole blue wheel would look a lot better, in my opinion.

Not really feeling all of the blue, but it is unique. If you wanted to still keep some blue at least lose the blue interior and pinstripe. If your wanting to know what your wheels look like with a polished lip check out my car. We essentially have the same wheels minus the blue on mine. Everything else looks good too me. Happy modding!

Really not 100% my style, but I can't say that I hate it. It's nice to see something a bit different pop up once in while.
Other than the decals and striping it doesn't look too bad at all. A lower temp HID would work to your advantage though. Keep up the good work, and happy modding!

That's actually not bad.
It does look like you're trying too hard with the blue though. Blue on black does look good, but it just doesn't look 'right' - something is off. It's like the blue accents you put on don't flow with everything that you have on it - as if it's being forced. Anyhow, an opinion is just that - an opinion. Drive what you love, love what you drive. Simple as that.

![]() I like the way your car looks with the blue. At first the wheels looked a little off, but the more I look at the pictures, the more I like it.
