Nope, this is very common not only on these cars but others as well. Rust builds up between the metal sleeve and the knuckle that it slides on, causing the strut to seize to the knuckle. Many of us had this problem, hell I even had to do it to my last set of AGX's.

Plenty of members here will say they are fine for the price, but personally I don't like Megan products. D2s are only a few dollars and cents more, might as well. I think I paid $890 for mine.

Joey is a vendor here that deals through jmautoracing.com
They are $925 atm. Just keep your eye on this page and bite when the price drops (and when you are financially ready of course). To give you an idea, right now there is a $40 off coupon code with free shipping for the D2s. But they always have deals going on, so it might be a little different by the time you are serious about putting down some guac.

As for the D2s, I'm happy with them. My friend's garage is sponsored by Ksport, and he said the D2s he installed on my car are nearly identical to the Ksports he gets shipped in. and those cost a few hundred dollars more. He said the only real difference was the quality of the spring, but was impressed otherwise.

The lid to the fuse box shows where the fuses are. Read them. If that confuses you take a test light, ground it and touch it to the two little metal pieces on top of the fuses. Make sure the car and headlights are on. A blown fuse will usually only light up on one side. Don't worry about the ones that don't light up at all.

I am really confused about you OP. You say you and your buddy are thinking about opening up a shop, but yet can't tell the difference between halogen or HID bulbs or where the fuses are? Not trying to be rude but come on man

I would wait a long time man before you think about opening a shop. My dad and his buddy tried opening a shop a while ago. Hard business, it eventually failed.

Man that tire really did go. When the tire blew did any of that wheel get damaged/scratched?

To my surprise... The wheel did not take any damage at all... After it blew I drove about 50 feet trying to get my car to the side of the road and I guess there was just enough tire left on the wheel to keep if off the ground

Had that happen to me. Found out there was a small crack in the wheels before the tires were put on. I'd inspect the wheels

Ouch, was it a front tire? Only ask becaus you said "trying to get my car to the side of the road" and made it sound like you had a hard time doing so.

I bet it scared you lol. That reminds me when I used to have my old CRX years ago when I just turned 16. I was driving in a neighborhood and made a turn to another street, right when I was turning my front right axle snapped in half. That scared the crap out of me because I couldn't control the car but luckily it just rested next to a curb.

Ya it was pretty intense... But no damage was done to anything except the tire so I am lucky there...when spring time rolls around I will be buying some new tires with more side wall...what would be a good size on 19s?

Well even with yours, blowing a tire going that fast is still very dangerous and not something I personally would want happening to me any day. The good thing is that you are ok and nothing ended up getting damaged with the car. Just a small set back then you will be back up on your feet, or I should say tires. Lol.

Go to tyrestretch.com and look for the size of your wheel and the width of it, it will have a bunch of tires listed and you can see how they look.
