another black one

Hello

I’ve been on the forum for awhile for about 2-3 years now I think. I’ve posted here and there about wanting parts and other random posts. When I first started on the forum I had an 03 GS A/T but now I have a 00 GT M/T.
I had the black cancer for death but I got it repainted and this how she sits now!
Enjoy

What she looked like before

They are 900, but why would you spend money on springs and then later on coils again. Plus you may run into a set of used coils on here

I went from springs to coils because 1: I didn't like how my springs looked on my GS (wasn't aware that the front sat high on the I4) and 2: I was about due for new struts. And you will be too if you drop with those GR-2s. I'm not saying either is better than the other, I definitely miss the ride comfort with springs though.

In the end, you save money doing it right the first time. I never thought I would go lower than my original 1.5 drop, but the front wheel gap drove me crazy every time I saw it. I probably would have stayed with springs if the front just sat a little lower. For me, Coilovers have become a bit of an inconvenience as a daily driver, but I'm just going to live with it. Obviously you know that Coilovers will make your car look like the business, but I would also look at pictures of GT's with 1.5 and 2 inch drops and see if one of those would suit you too. Weigh out the pro's and con's, then put your guac towards your favorite and be done with it.

I was a college student before and i know that u can say "broke college student" but at the beginnin of each semester if ur goin to a public college u have the option to get the remainin balance of tuition paid to u instead of bein sent back to the loaner. Also if u have a part time job income taxes are comin up. With that said never say "broke college student" unless u dont get any of the above benefits...lol

(for reference i was getting 4-6k back from tuition, it was great)

Well actually most my school is paid for because of football scholly, but still had to pay a good bit. What I really mean as *broke college student* us that I can't spend a lot, gotta save, got 9 months of full time radiology school, lol but yes, I work 40 hour a week and take night classes, so I will enjoy the taxes, but have other priorities first

u could always just put 25-50 dollars a week into a savings account until u get the amount u need for whatever for ur car without hurting ur priorities. I've only done minor mods to mine cause im still payin on my car (until next year ) but once its paid off i have an extra $340 a mth on top of my extra money to start spending on my car. With all the mods i plan to do it'll take me about 2 years to complete.
