definitely one of my favorite eclipses...and that new hood is freakn beautiful. i think it looks a lot better paint matched. i wish i had that hood instead of the invader

Thanks for the compliments guys. After i install the hood pins and get the hood painted im going to try and get the car into a magazine.

Will do. Still debating on what hood pins i should get. I need to keep the clean look and a set of giant silver pins on my hood would look like shit.

where did you buy the vis evo 2 style hood? everywhere I look, I only see the vis evo carbon hood.

tried wesellcarparts, prostreetonline, sc-customs, etc

its the same hood...evo 1...evo 2...ive actually never heard it called evo2 until I came in this thread. But i think he is referring to the evo hood that seibon makes...it don't have the two small side vents. I think it is the evo 1 and this is the evo 2. Correct me if I am wrong Randy.

Arachno is right. The vis version is just called evo hood. I was able to turn my SRS light off today with the companys scan tool. SWEET!!!!!!. Im still looking at hood pins. I found a set that i want but im trying to find someone to powder coat them from chrome to black. I would really love to make the hood pins completly flush with the hood itself

ive decided on a set of hood pins. Now im leaning towards putting them on the front of the hood. Theres a very slight chance they may go behind the headlight. For all of those that installed the hood pins did you still keep you hood latch?

i dont have any pics of my pins from when i had the eclipse. but yea i did take off the stock latch.
